thanks for the info ladies. the kind of PIA deal is we will be there for 1 night then checking into LV. then need it for another 2-3. i guess we can go to more than one place too. do you think we could just walk up to a hotel and check in without reservations? they might try to charge us more huh?

hola! im off to shoot elizabeths wedding at las ventanas in cabo the first week in august (and courtneys ES and BD pics. i wont forget you courtney!) during the contracted "wedding time" we are staying at las ventanas. yes living like photography rock stars but since we are staying a week to do some sight seeing and cool local photography we need a place to stay the rest of the time. as much as id like to stay at las ventanas the entire time i just cant! the personal working with me is male and speaks spanish and i feel that gives me more flexibility on where i stay however we need it to be a safe place as we will have all our gear with us. if they have a safe thats a bonus! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks - leigh

ann use the DVD ripper and please cut me out of any places i might show up. did they edit it or just send you the entire thing? most US videographers edit us (photographers) out but im not sure how high tech this company is.

tara after shooting there i would suggest having the people you want in the photographs come over on the boat and do those before the ceremony. you guys can still have a first meeting alone. and those make for cool pics. then spend a little time doing photos with just the two of you. and finally do your family before the ceremony. i dont know who your photographer is but i would talk to them about it. you may have to pay for the extra people to be there during the day but it would be worth it if you want nice family photos that arent in the dark.

when people arent used to being photographed (and what normal person is!) it usually is a little awkward starting out. i had my shyest bride at an ES ever a few weeks ago. (they are the most recent ones on my blog) but the good thing is the hardest part is over. you will be more relaxed on the wedding day which i think is just easier by design cause youre occupied and busy. plus now you know what to expect. and i agree with everyone. love your hair!!! and the photos are very nice. im sure the wedding day ones will be great! and tell that fiance to practice the shoulder kiss until he gets it right

i didnt buy the dress i really wanted. and i wish i had. it was about $2000. i had one made instead. it was a knock off of my second choice. i didnt have my first choice made because i thought it would be too hard to do. i do like the dress i ended up with. but wish i would have just bought the one i wanted. my dress ended up being about $500.

i love the rest of my life - michelle featherstone. i used it in a ss recently and it still makes me a little teary when i watch it. of course i love the couple so i feel very attached to them we were considering the following songs cant take my eyes off of you - frankie valli songbird - eva cassidy she - elvis costello (love the part where he says - she maybe your heaven or your hell - cause thats so true!!! haha!) when you say nothing at all - ronan keating and lastly sara smile - hall and oates. and thats the one we went with. i know, my names not sara. we hadnt even decided until the wedding day. i was playing them the morning of the wedding and after my husband heard the first line of this song, he said that one. And me forever i have a crazy amount of baby hair. you know that fringy little hair around your face. he used to play with it when we would lay around on the sofa watching a movie or something. notice i said USED TO. were old married folks now. he doesnt spend nearly as much time gazing into my eyes now - sigh! i say if you love DMB crash. use it. i also love crush! and love of my life. and #41 but thats not really a first dance song.

hi congrats! where are you in the UK? im coming to london in september to shoot my first wedding and im so excited! what a cool and unique wedding! i dont know what you have in the uk but nicole miller and jcrew in the us have some more casual/beachy wedding dresses.

here are a few weddings ive shot there. thought this might be helpful - marie and jocelyns wedding http://www.leighmillerphotography.co..._nate_wedding/ el dorado royale elizabeth medina and matt and sol also have posted slideshows on this forum so if you search you should be able to find those too. lots of chances to see great weddings from there!!! it is not unswimmable. but some people dont like this beach due to the erosion and sandbags.

sorry. let me clarify. he likes cats. and he likes to fart. although i will say, my tolerance for farting is pretty high. i have 3 younger brothers. 1 ex-husband. two sons. and one current husband. i like dogs and at least one fart-free zone in my house.
