thanks everyone for your kind words. edyta thats an interesting thing you said. im trying to be especially mindful of that as many of the destination weddings i shoot are in the same locations and often they do EVERY wedding exactly the same. but what ive found is every couple is different, its just finding that "them". maybe my therapy background gives me a legup? my background of being a therapist, not being IN therapy! although ive done plenty of that for one reason or another so im always trying. and learning. and trying new things.

wow that villa is amazing! stupid question. do you think the price listed is per week? or per day? for mexico im assuming per week but then i thought, that seems cheap for a place that amazing!!! im wondering family vacation next year and congrats!

so elizabeth how about ryan and i meet you guys at LV for your anniversary - haha!!! for some unknown reason (the HE cant even explain) my husband seems to think he HATES the entire country of mexico. not the people or anything just the idea of mexico as a place to get away for a vacation. i think LV could change his mind! and be glad you didnt go from LV to the sheraton or youd really have somethings to complain about. their internet was down. i threw such a big fit about it the first time i was there when i went back after LV they put me in a room in between the pool and the loud, loud, loud!!! air conditioning unit. (i suspect they did that on purpose!) the food was BAD! i had to call the front desk at 2:30 and 5:15 am to ask them to go tell those loud teenaged girls in the pool to cool it. apparently the pool never closes. it was funny how i never felt LV was crowded at all. i know its low season. so i wonder what its like during busy season? they only have 70 suites right? i thought the service at LV was great! believe me we put them to the test. asking for all kinds of stuff. even for them to light our fireplace. then they came back 4 hours later and cleaned it out. we needed a rental car and they arranged it all and had the car brought to us we are divas! the only thoughts i had about improvements were - the food was good, but i expected spectacular. the food i had at el dorado royale in riviera maya was actually better. the other thing that i thought and warning - this is really petty! - is that the place is so beautiful and i of course unpacked and moved in like i was living there, who wouldnt, but there was no cabinet in the bathroom to put my crap in. all my beauty stuff so i just had to leave it out on the counter and i felt like that uglied things up. could i BE anymore spoiled haha! i feel embarrassed to even write that but thats what i thought when i was there. oh and one more thing the decor was great! i loved all the little touches, like the best things from your home were there but the chair they had in our room seemed cheap and out of place and the bedspreads on the beds were the same ones that were on the beds in a cheap hotel where i stayed in the bahamas once. please dont think im a bad person. those were just some thoughts i had! i will let everyone know when i post the pics from the place and our suite. feel free to give me a really tacky nickname now that fits my diva wannabe status!

hey elizabeth - i havent forgotten about you! i will get your pics on the blog tomorrow or thursday i had two weddings this weekend. one in sonoma on saturday then flew home sunday morning for a wedding sunday afternoon. im exhausted!!! glad everyone loves the little preview pic. so im dying to know. which did you like better? LV or palmilla? im going to write and review and post some LV pics on my blog. it will be hard for me to stay anywhere else when i go back to cabo! i so want to take my husband for a get away weekend there. thanks again so much for having me be your wedding photographer. i had a great time and you two are wonderful. i hate when i meet all these great people and they live somewhere else! btw - riccis has beat me to the punch and posted some pics on his blog. i was going to post a link to his at the same time as mine but these can hold you over until i get mine up

hey gals. i blogged courtneys ES yesterday (or the day before i cant remember!) and one of elizabeth and bens day after. you have to read the comments under that post by ben. hes a hoot! elizabeth is going to have her hands full with that one! anyhoo, i know courtney would love everyone to see more of her ES pics but shes shy (i dont know why, youve all seen her goods) and doesnt want to toot her own horn and bring these pics to your attention. so i will so go here. and if any of you know anyone in paris im looking for a couple to shoot while im there in sept. hi dee - thank you so much for your kind words here and on the blog. im so lucky to do what i do. and courtney and aaron are wonderful. it must be a joy having a daughter like her! we had such a good time and they gave me complete control of where, when and what. its so important to trust your photographer and of course courtneys so great we hit it off immediately. i think i will have a friend for life. i found a few of those on here im looking forward to the wedding in may and meeting all their family and friends who i know will be as fun and wonderful as they are! i can hardly wait. it will be here before you know it! thanks again - leigh

this is so funny! where the heck is courtney today? normally she would have been the first to see this. thanks for all the kind words. im not kidding when i say courtneys a natural. its almost like she has a split personality. when that camera is on her she just works it. she has a wonderful, warm personality and we had a blast hanging out in SJdC. i wonder if we bored aaron to death? sometimes she looks like claire danes. i wonder if she hears that alot? im sitting here in the cabo airport taking my life in my hands by drinking some coffee. im not sick....yet!

yes they both were. im sure when elizabeth comes back she will be happy to tell you about her experience with las ventanas. honestly the word "no" isnt in their vocabulary. we needed all kinds of stuff for the BD with courtney - we had them fire up the fireplace, bring us a tablecloth and a ladder. never blinked an eye! im so spoiled after being there. i cant wait to post some pics from elizabeths wedding and day after but that will be a week or 10 days away so i can get caught up. she and ben rocked the day after session!!!
