Your dress will hold up just fine... 99.9% of competent photographers will not ask you do anything that will ruin your dress. I ask brides to sit in a ally, or some times they want to get into the ocean... thats all goo, nothing a dry cleaning will not fix. nic

I like bands if they are good... I would choose one or the other, having both is over kill in my estimation.

First of all, Welcome. I was just in RM and stayed at the Barcelo Maya property. It was extremely perfect. The property has 5 hotels, countless pools and other amenities, and the entire week I was there, I saw 2 pieces of trash... the place was spotless! here is a link http://www.barcelo.com/BarceloHotels...Beach/Home.htm

Im not a fan of the work on their site... ask to see an example of an entire wedding or two. the exposure and skin tones were really off.

Do you see the videographer... aka the reason why I don't like many videographers

to be honest, only you can really answer that question... I mean to me I can't fathom paying $100 to have my hair cut and styled but my wife loves to spend money on haircuts. So to you paying $5k on a wedding photographer might be insane, but to the next bride, she has to have that certain photographer shoot her wedding. Some brides have to have an expensive gown, some not so much.... does that make any sense? Im really tired today PS... not all photogs are insanely expensive
