Thanks for the site. I have a question for you all about wedding favors...for those of you who will be having a reception when you get back...are you still going to provide favors? We aren't having a "formal" sit down reception, just cocktails and ap's...we want more of a big celebration bash with everyone. Is it strange to have favors with the wedding date if they didn't even get to see the wedding?

There isn't much of a price difference from Feb to April... April is about $100 or so more, depending on the hotel or unless you can get some discounted rates. The weather in Feb has highs around low to mid 70's with lows in the lower 60's. April highs are high 70's to mid 80's, with lows in the upper 60's. I would suggest going late April as well, if you can wait that long. It would be warmer for you and you would be out of the way of spring breakers, as well as vacationers. In my mind, kids will be finishing school in May, so parents wouldn't take their children on a vacation during finals and last month studies. Good luck!

I will be tonight after work. We joined a gym a few months ago, and have been pretty faithful (about 5 times a weeks) but with the holidays and my school finals, I have fallen off. We PIGGED out this weekend and told each other this is the last weekend to do so! We took full advatage! Tonight is back to the gym! We have 3 1/2 months to look our best!! That is a perfect amount of time. I will NOT allow myself to keep putting if off and then a month or even a week before, say "Sh*t, I better go to the gym!!"

I am so glad my brother married an artist. She not only talented in paintings and designing, but her photography skills are amazing! I can't believe how expensive photographers are! We are so lucky to have my sister-in-law helping us!!

I haven't done professional ones, but while I was living in California for a year w/o my man...he got LOTS of those pics I took for him with my digital camera. They are fun to do, but I am not sure if I could that with someone else taking them.

Hello Ann! My name is Haley. I have lots to still plan, but mainly for our reception when we return. I have talked on and off with the Dreams WC, but she doesn't seem to answer all of my questions. She is very vague in her answers, so it is hard to know what I need to be planning for. I guess I will do most of the planning/decoration/extras when we get there. Las Caletas is very beautiful! Your wedding is going to be stunning! What do you have left to do? Do you have a big group going with you? Is your welcome dinner planned already or is that what you are waiting for when she returns? I have a few pics Marilu (WC) sent to me regarding pics of wedding locations, and some extra options (ie. candles, etc.) She also sent me the spa pricing and packages. Not sure if you would need any of those, but let me know if you might.

Yea..they are great. I wish I found out about them BEFORE we bought my dress already. That would have saved us some money! Oh well...can't go back now

Thanks for that website Janet! There are LOTS to look at, that will keep me pretty busy My dress is from Spain...it has a Spanish feel to it and I want some earrings with that same feel. I may just find there on that site. That "accessory" portion is the hardest to figure out in my opinion.

Oh I love Maggie Sottero's dresses. Check with local wedding stores to see if they have any trunk sales going on soon...they had a lot around my area when I was looking, and there are some great deals!! Good Luck!

I have looked there and found a few options I liked, and they are very reasonable. It is important to try on first, b/c some of the styles fit wierd. I would also check out Jessica McClintock Inc - Home Page They only have a few options, but they are fairly cheap and if you have a store near you...I would check them out. Good luck!
