  1. Welcome! Definitely check into a weekday wedding...you are getting married in Mexico, so no one will need to go to work afterwards We are doing a Thursday wedding, b/c all weekends were booked.
  2. Sounds wonderful...can't wait to see pics and here more about your details as time goes on.
  3. Welcome! You will get most of your questions answered here. Let us know when the big question is popped
  4. I had a really hard time too! There are sooooo many styles to chose from! There were 2 dresses I LOVED and could not stop thinking about...but after a few more stores weeks later...I found a completely different one. They always say, "once you know, you know" but I didn't feel that way. I LOVED so many I tried on. It is so hard to pick just one My mom, dad, MIL, and soon to be sister-in-laws all had to help me decided. It was just too hard and that was all I thought about The dress you posted was amazing. Good luck to you! Take your time and my best advice is to not impulse buy.

  8. Welcome! This site is amazing. The girls are awesome at helping.
  9. WOW!! Stunning pics!! This is why I LOVE beach weddings!! Can't get more beautiful than that! I want to do the sparklers too...did the place provide/offer them or did you have to bring them? I can't get my WC to answer any of my questions. I saw this amazing picture of a couple making a heart with their sparklers with them in the middle...and that is when I decided I want them!! It was awesome! You are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all the pics!
  10. Welcome! Everyone here is great at helping, so ask away
  11. They are getting huge! So many of our friends wanted/want to do a DW, but they are too afraid. WE will be the first of our all of our family and friends. We are so excited to be the first and have people remember our wedding. So many weddings are "normal" and just forgotten, but now DW! There is always something so special to remember

It's basically a cruise, dinner and an show on the beach! Vallarta Adventures also offers many other excursions (scuba diving, whale watching, dolphins, etc.). Yea...I heard cool things about the Rhythms of the Night as well. We are going to do that one and the Canopy Tour with the families! I am super stoked about the Canopy Tour!! Zip-lining through the jungle up to 50mph!! That is going to be awesome!
  13. Welcome!! Glad to have you aboard! March is approaching quickly Yea for you!!

Barcelo is more affordable and I know more of my guests will stay at that hotel. I'm afraid if I go with Dreams, I'll need to pay those pricey day passes for all those who choose not to stay there. Well, that kinda makes me mad. Why won't she email me back? I guess since I have already set it up, I don't really count anymore. I only asked one question, it's not like I am bridezilla!! I may have to turn into one, if I can't get any answers out of her Oh well...How much were you told the passes are??
  15. I am going to do the message in the bottle invitations!! With this style inside... Item # VK9028-43 - Invitations and Announcements by Invitation Consultants. We are using that picture design, but using a more vertical paper in order to roll it into the bottle and have it more assessable. It has a hint of sand and shells in the bottom along with a drink umbrella.

Thanks, Amy Amy, we are having a smaller wedding...with only 16 people attending. We are using the WC at Dreams...and at first she was really attentive, but I haven't heard from her lately. I heard through the grapevine a while ago she was on vacation, so I am sure she has soooo much to catch up on. I have meet a few brides that have already had their wedding there and used her, and they really enjoyed her! I am not sure if they allow another coordinator to come in or not...double check before anything else.
  17. Congrats and welcome to the site. Better late than never! I am getting married in PV too, but at Dreams Resort. If you have any advice about PV when you get back...I would appreciate any help you can give! Thanks! Good luck and Best wishes to you!
  18. The house of brides website is pretty cool. I looked into that one when I was searching for what styles I liked. They are very affordable as well!

    Hey, I'm new

Welcome and congrats! It won't be long until you fall in with the rest of us and are typing away all day long!
  20. WoW! I never thought of doing that. I am in the "old days" I guess...I only thought of scrapbook style. That is MUCH nicer! I am going to look into that! My sister-in-law is our photographer and she is an artist, so I might give her a little money to help me with it. Thanks for sharing! The book is amazing and so are YOU!
  21. We are finally registering tomorrow!! We changed from BB&B to Macy's. They have the dishes we want, along with many other kitchen and bedroom designs. We will still do Pier 1 since our wine glasses are there and Home Depot/Lowes for him. He has been pretty cool about it so far...trying to make lists of things he thinks we need around the house and stuff...we will see how he does at the actual shopping portion

That wouldn't matter much since we are having a very small group with us. And we are staying together the night of the wedding, so we would gets lots of alone time. Just depends on the person I guess.

Congrats! You are so close! Good luck to you! Make sure to post your pics--we love to see them!
  24. I can see it both ways...but my personal feeling is I want him to get the "wow" factor as I first step into his sights coming down the aisle. I means more to mean that way for some reason. I just like the intial shock in front of all our family/friends of how he feels when he watches his bride coming down the aisle to him! Just how I feel. But I can see how it would be eaiser for pictures to do it before.
