Hi! Does anyone know where I can buy several light pink table runners? I wanted to decorate the reception table (we are having one long table) kinda like in the picture below but with a lighter pink color and I'm having a hard time finding one in stores!

I haven't decided about a dj either..there's only going to be about 30 people so I'm just leaning towards a sound system with either my ipod/cds. Do you guys know if the resort has an IPOD sound system to use for the reception? or the cost of the sound system to use for the reception? (the price is listed for the ceremony on her music price list but it isn't for the reception)

I've been selling and buying stuff on Ebay for a few years. Just be careful who you are buying from. I once bought a BCBG dress from some company who gets them from China and it was definitely a fake (the quality of the fabric just wasn't there). Make sure you read the reviews and maybe search the ebay boards for info. Oh, and don't buy from anyone who keeps their reviews private. Let me know if you have questions, maybe I can help!

Hey Jill! Are the wedding packages the same for a non-legal ceremony? I already put down a deposit for a legal one so I hope I wouldnt have to change anything. Hi everyone! I was set to do a legal ceremony at Dreams Cancun but now I am having second thoughts (due to the extra costs/procedures -- I will also be in the process of moving/starting residency after the wedding). Now I am thinking about getting married first in the states and then having a vow-renewal ceremony. Did anyone do this at Dreams? Did it affect your wedding package? Did you have to bring your marriage certificate or license with you? My pastor will be coming with us and is performing the ceremony in Cancun - I guess I will have to check with him to see if it would be legal for him. I am a little confused but I just wanted your opinions! thanks!

I am about to book with Claudia Rodriguez, thank you all for recommending her! Her photos on her website are awesome! I forgot to ask but, is there a fee for bringing her onto the resort? Also, did you guys also use the resort photographer in addition to an outside one (its part of the wedding package)? If you did, were you able to specifiy what event you wanted them to cover -- like just the reception (since claudia will be only covering the ceremony)? I didn't want the two photographers to get in each other's way. thanks!

For those who are getting the program fans, where are you ordering them from? Are you making them yourselves? I saw some online and they were pretty expensive (and i only need about 30 of them).

Has anyone given out fans (program fans or straw) to their guests during the ceremony? I will be having the ceremony outside at the Dreams Cancun gazebo and I've heard that it can be pretty windy. Would the fans be waste then?

What did you gals think of the photographer at the resort? I would like to hire an additional photographer but I just don't think its within our budget. Claudia had sent me some photos and I'm just not sure. Also, did the photographer take pictures from the ceremony/with family/cocktail/reception? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I will be getting married at Dreams Cancun on May 24, 2007! I am in the process of choosing the ceremony and reception locations within the resort and also working on designing the invitations. Just wanted to say 'hi' and I look forward to hearing about other people's ideas!
