Mine was fine.. very clean in fact.. My only problem was a little bit of sand still in the fabric because it's an organza overlay and on the bodice some of the sand went through the fabric.. it's bright white though! I haven't had it professionally cleaned.. just washed it off in the bathtub.

We will be at the champagne table, and everyone else will sit at one of these: - Sangria - Margarita - Cafe de Olla - Agua de Jamaica - Paloma - Vampiro - Tepache - Horchata - Michelada - Chocolate Caliente - Limonada I'm attaching the actual table cards I made. At the top I put the flip flop design that has been at the top of our save-the-dates, invitations, placecards, and stationery. Then at the bottom there is the table (drink) name and a picture. I took these to be professionally color-printed, and then I had them cut in half vertically and folded in half horizontally. Then they were laminated and ready to go. Enjoy! Sarah Oh wow! Those are great! I love the photos you found.. very fun. -
We used Tomas for our engagement photos. He's a very nice person and super hard working. We felt allot of our pictures were super posed but it was a fun session. His rates are great! We ended up canceling our contract with him for the wedding day and flying in a photographer based on a super special she was having. It worked out that we got more for the money even with her flight/lodging factored in. Snapfish: Share:Registration http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t6482

I gave my Bridesmaids a VS bag with travel size lotions, etc for their Mexico trip. I don't think anyone brought it with, but I'm sure a small gift is appreciated but not necessary. I also wrote a note and gave a small gift to the owner of the house (friend) where the party was located. For favors I found small shower gels and shower scrubby thing and put together with a tag that said "From my Shower To Yours. Love, Angela"

Order of Wedding Party
cheese_diva replied to dgsjsu's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
We did it in order of couples.. MOH and BM are married.. then my friend Shannon and GM Patrick are married so they were next.. then my girlfriend Sheri (single) walked back with our friend Steven and Matt's brother Erik.. a man on both sides. -
We had three girls and 4 guys.. my mom had a mini fit about it but we didn't care.. I wasn't going to ask someone that I didn't really love just to make the numbers even.. It's up to you.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your engagement! I'm a recent Dreams bride.. we did everything a'la carte because we chose to book many vendors on our own.. I know what you mean about it being confusing.. we had the idea that we'd just pick a package and show up but we wanted to make our wedding more personal with small details. I'm glad we did it the way we did. You can check out my review..link is on bottom of my siggy. Jonathan is right.. have Yessica clarify exactly what's included. Keep your emails simple. I found that was the best way to get answers to your questions. Don't freak if it takes awhile to hear back.. some vendors are truly on "Mexican time". You have plenty of time and truthfully if you wanted to make all your wedding decisions when you get to Mexico.. everything will still turn out perfect! How many guests are you expecting?

Sent a STD do you have to send invitation?
cheese_diva replied to lucy106's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Have you heard through the grapevine if she is interested in coming? If yes, you might want to un-invite her.. Just not getting an invite might be confusing and she may end of showing up... If you don't think she has already book or wants to come.. then you could probably get away with not sending her an invite. -
Night Before and Day of the Wedding
cheese_diva replied to jfwolfe72's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
We spent the night together and woke up for breakfast together.. after breakfast I went to the salon to get my nails done. We didn't see each other until I walked down the isle.. actually I saw him during the day at the pool with the guys while we were getting our hair done. The anticipation of going down the isle was surreal.. I was fine until about 2 minutes before go-time.. then the nerves hit and I wished I had a shot of tequila.. -

Bad news just flew into town... *UPDATED*
cheese_diva replied to StephanieMN's topic in Just venting or funnies
Was he in jail or prison? Doesn't seem to make sense he was in jail that long for hitting his girlfriend.. must be more to it.. What a tough situation.. I too would ask her to delay her plans.. maybe make it about how happy you are for her but you want to wait until after your wedding to help with her plans and be there for her?? That might buy you time for his true colors to come out.. -
Belize is more of a blue/green (like Caspian). We chose Aruba which is more of a blue/aqua tone... Our sample came incorrect because her original paper samples had the names swapped. I was a little concerned making a decision cuz I wasn't sure what was what after we got our sample and Brittany sent me over some samples just to make sure. Our final paper choices: Pocket- Aruba Accent- Coco (dark brown) Cane Paper Accent- Aruba Printed- Solar White Some of our RSVP postcards did get a little shredded from the post office machines but all were readable.. besides many guests didn't return (grrr!) lol

We used a picture frame that had several panes of glass for our sand ceremony container.. We taped off the lip of the areas we didn't want sand to fall.. It had a lid on it to keep the sand in.. our smaller containers were oil/vinegar containers so we just taped the small hole. Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a large ziplock bag.. some sad did come out (little) but we have extra at home to fill it back up.

We brought a suitcase lock with us.. locked our valuables (rings before the wedding, the money pouch Matt wore while we were traveling to and from the resort, my ipod, etc.) into the suitcase and just put the suitcase where we put the other empty suitcases, in the closet. The key was kept in a folded pair of Matt's socks in the drawer.. It was a really small key so even if someone went looking for it, it was take alot to find the key then open the suitcase and get it all put back. Most thieves aren't going to take a long time ripping you off and chance you coming back.. they'll go to the next room. I think wedding couples need to even more cautious than every day travelers.. the hotel workers know they're busy getting married for hours..
