Becks, I wonder if he's in a bind now... like he told them you guys were paying for all the family.. dumb on his part and he'll need to figure it out.

I agree. I was worried when I saw the thread title. What a bunch of great friends. That's super funny!

I ended up only going once that night.. I guess from the excitement of everything. My MOH knew that was one of her duties.. lol she held up my dress while I did my thing. My girlfriend came in and snapped a photo for the memory! I did the same thing for my good friend, just held up the dress away from her face and so it wasn't touching the ground.

Luminary bag website?
cheese_diva replied to angitalia23's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
I agree with Sarah. We used white lunch bags too.. although mine were tiny and only a 3 year old's lunch would fit in there.. I would buy really cheap white votives and fill the bottom of the bag with sand. We had one bag catch on fire but that's it (only because the bags were so tiny). We got our super cheap at Bed Bath and Beyond. We just used a decorative punch across the top but Sarah's were nice with the printing on them. (a little trickier process to get them through the printer) OR you could print stickers and place on the bags.. Really the light just ads a pretty glow.. even a plain bag (even out the top) is really pretty. -

I'm guessing a combination of all. Just remember to set up all your dry stuff first cuz once you jump into the water and get your hair wet, it's never as pretty.

Just got back from Cabo-Site Visit!

Jennifer's cakes are great! We had carrot with cream cheese frosting. We made sure to bring boxes for everyone and I heard raves about our guests midnight snacks the next day. She's very nice too! You're in good hands with DJ Ritchie too. He really cares about how good of a job he does. -

I tried so many things & finally just cloned out the bigger blowing parts. Go with what looks best. I hope we can make this a great picture. He did the same exact thing! He sent me first attempt and then I had to leave for the day so not sure if he has a final version to send me. If/when he does I'll post for comparison.

Involving mothers in ceremony on the beach

They could read a poem that relates to your relationship.. Matt's sister did this and had everyone in tears! -

But my wow comment is really dealing mostly with the fact that Robin only took ONE photo of Matt's dad/stepmom and didn't take better care to make it a stunning photo. Those sunglasses should have come off, and the shadows across the faces should have been cleaned up with photoshop. I have an action saved in my PS for adding fill lighting to areas like that---- but still.... damn, she should have taken more than ONE picture since it was part of the immediate family pictures. Has Robin said whether she has any other photos of his dad/stepmom? Sometimes it can be easier to clone if there's another photo where the feature looks good to start with... Uh, no need to tell me.. that's my one huge warning to future clients.. make her take more than one photo cuz that's all I have. Most of the setups were one or two shots and that's it. uh.. and I made her set these up.. I only have one photo of me with by bridesmaids that's usable too (other than the entire party shots).. I could go on and on, but I won't. I sent Morgan a night shot of his dad that was taken by a friend but that's all I have.. I can try searching back through the DVDs but I'm not sure. I know I have photos from another trip that might work out. I'll search tonight for something better.

Don't forget to remind guests (somehow) to not set them on the tables.. they could burn the tablecloths and you could end up paying allot of money to replace them. Perhaps a pretty bucket with sand.

Also, I was warned about the "free alterations" make sure their policy is in writing and google your salon to make sure girls haven't had problems. -

Oh Wow! She has a very different style of photography. That's done in Photoshop, right? Very cool! -

They actually wanted professional photos of a party like that? lol My bachelorette was hilarious but I was glad we only had one camera around. The digital pics are locked in a vault never to be printed. lol

They had a pinata setup near the front lobby. They played some games then asked the honeymooners to stay.. we got to wack at the pinata.. it was really fun. But I'm sure your setup would be more private.

How many girls do you have and what are the guys wearing. I don't know why it matters but I'm trying to get an idea of the entire picture. -
