Wow the hanging flowers look gorgeous and I've never seen a dress like yours! Very pretty!

Ours didn't get used allot in Mexico because drinks were served in plastic cups but our friends/family are a bunch of RV campers so they get used every time we meet up camping. I had a ton left over so when I went to WI a few weeks ago I brought some for my friends/family that weren't able to make it to Mexico. Everyone loved them!

I'm whitey-white so I wore SPF 50 every day and wore strapless bathing suit. I also bought one of those cute dresses in mexico to wear over my suit that was strapless. My DH didn't quite get my entire back with the sunscreen and I was a little blotchy, just on my back so it didn't show in most photos. I also tried to avoid the sun (it was really hot!) by using the umbrellas by the pool or just hanging in the shade. Wedding day I was barely outside at all until the ceremony. I came home with a nice tan despite wearing 50 each day.

I think part of the problem may be your approach. Stop putting down your idea before you even tell her. You aren't crazy for wanting a candy bar! It's just a relatively new idea for weddings and may not be something your FMIL has seen before. It's not tacky and when they're well put together they're beautiful. If I were you I would just share your excitement. She's less likely to rain on your parade.. well, then again she is a MIL.. but you wouldn't double check with a hall owner or a park if that's where you were having your AHR.. Do what you want as long as it's within your budget.

We recently bought a Simmons beautyrest that I absolutely love. I rely in this website alot of consumer reports type reviews. During my search I read in a few places that the Sleep Number beds weren't very comfortable...at least not as comfortable as people thought they would be. Trisha, I can't believe you're able to see your photos so quickly. They turned out just beautiful! I loved the video. Everyone seemed very impressed by your efforts and I'm glad you were able to capture it on film.

I agree with the other girls. I waited for a few years (we started dating in '03 and bought a house in '04) and as each holiday in '06 passed I was so disappointed. We had a few of those "shit or get off the pot" conversations that we laugh about now but were anything but fun at the time. Have a great time and know that he'll do it in his own time. It's such a huge thing to ask and be asked and I'm glad he isn't taking it lightly. Best of luck!

I have my baby bump photos but not here at work. I'll have to post next week. I'm 10 weeks and 3 days. I had a bad day yesterday. I spotted blood (red) on Tuesday night and again on Wednesday morning (brown). I had myself really freaked out. I left a message at the Dr.'s office at 8:30 and finally called back at 9:30 when I didn't hear back. The person I spoke to said it was nothing to worry about, but I decided to stay in bed all day. Other than my little freak out yesterday I'm doing great! I know spotting can be normal but I thought the worse and really didn't want to be at work incase anything were to progress. Today was a much better day!
