Ann, you're so practical, I didn't even think about the problem of how to get things like this there... Hmm, I will have to plan carefully for packing....

So, I sent out an 'evite' to our wedding. Unusual I know! But I still haven't figured out my save the dates, and we needed to get an approximate number for the room blocks - so I just sent out an evite! So far people have reacted so positively, I am glad I sent it in evite because we can easily send out emails to those that have responded or not responded, and you can ask questions in the response, so it's working well. My question is: my wedding is 11 months away. So far everyone is responding YES! How many of those people do you think we should plan for? Roughly how many of the people that responded yes to you in the beginning dropped out eventually?

KayKay- I love those JCrew dresses, that's what I wanted too... Mine is from Nordstrom... That's a good place to go by the way, you can all try on lots of different kinds of dresses in one shop, that's what we did... Macy's too.

Jen, you know I know how you feel!! And I finally decided on the Barcelo, as you know, but still get worried when I hear negative things... But HONESTLY, have you seen any places that don't have some negative reviews now and again? Most of these have good reviews for the most part, including Grand Palladium, and Barcelo... and we're pretty laid back, so I think it will be beautiful, and so I am trying to just be happy with my decision. Which other ones are in the running now? Still thinking about Dreams Tulum?

Hi Sophie, I had the same problem, was trying to plan for this new years as well, and finally changed the date because it was just ridiculous, I was looking at much worse hotels just to make it affordable, so I think it is sensible to change the date, you will get so much more for your money! I went the other route, and pushed it out to 2008, but I think you could make it be earlier... what I would do is write a list of the people that are really important to me, and that I really really want to be there, and check with them that they could make it this summer... Then just let everyone else know and see who can and can't make it... But yes, new years is NOT A GOOD TIME.

Oh Melissa, I'm so sorry, that SUCKS! Stupid people, but don't worry, first of all, nobody really cares about that stuff, and your guests and you will have a wonderful trip and forget all about it once you're there. And second of all, I think a little shopping trip once you get there is a great idea! You'll be able to get cute things from the area for an affordable price which sounds perfect, it will probably end up being even better!!! So don't worry, and just be excited that you're leaving in 4 days!!!!

Hi ladies -- for those of you that did STD magnets through vistaprint or so, how did you do it?? I am struggling so much, I have done several designs using photos, clip art, wording, all in powerpoint because it's easy to use... but every time I try to upload them into vistaprint it says it is too low resolution, it's so frustrating, they show up all blurry. Ann and others that did this, how did you get it to be the right resolution?? Here are some of my designs, they show up clear when I look at them on my computer... I don't understand!
