Hi guys, I'm so silly, and last night was playing around with trying on my wedding band... Anyway, in doing so, I found my original wedding band in the drawer, and realized I have to do something with it!! So, for those of you that weren't around on the forum then, my fiance surprised me with our engagement, and bought me an Ering and Wedding band together (who does that!!!). Anyway, so, obviously, we're not married yet, so I never wore the wedding band. It's really pretty, pave diamonds half the way around... But I hated my ering, exchanged it for a new one, and bought a new plain wedding band, was not able to exchange the old wedding band. If anyone is interested in it, I can send photos, and find out exactly how many carats of diamonds are on it. I'm planning on just selling it on ebay. Eric's mum works at a jewellers, and so we got it at cost, so it is a good deal -- just asking 400 dollars for it, to cover our cost. Let me know!

Yes, thanks Yazmin, we will call them (we keep trying, but they're never there!), and discuss... Hopefully, we can make it clear and come to some agreement. I haven't signed the contract yet, but Tammy's been working hard on it, and I really don't want to have to go through choosing a location again! Having worked there, would you recommend it? Do you think I will get most things I want through them, so only need to worry about the photographer and the welcome dinner?

Thanks Yazmin, yes, I'm starting to learn that Barcelo is not very flexible at all... It is concerning to me. But I'm also trying to decide if I am just willing to deal with that, rather than go through the whole search again.

I can't tell if this is just a Barcelo thing, i know lots of places have issues with the outside vendors... and I don't know if most places allow a night before welcome dinner... so I'm not sure if I'm freaking out unnecessarily because actually, all the places will have these problems, and i don't wnat to go through the whole searching again for no reason... Not sure what to do.

Melissa, if you read this, give me your advice!!! As some of you know, it took me FOREVER to pick a location. And I picked the Barcelo Maya Colonial, I can't really remember why now! Though I know Melissa loved it, which gives me hope. But now, we are about to sign the contract, and I'm freaking out because they're saying ABSOLUTELY no external photographer, and Tammy says they are stricter than all the other resorts even. They're also saying, no vendors of any kind, and no welcome dinner or brunch after on site... I just want a reserved table for my guests that are staying at the resort, it seems like a reasonable request, and since everyone is paying for AI, I don't want to have to organize dinner and brunch off site, you know? So, I've already sent out my location, STDs etc, but nobody has booked yet because the room blocks aren't in place. Should I think about moving the location Help, I'm freaking out.

Sharke, Matt, Leigh, Jonathan, have you guys ever had the experience where you were put on the guestlist, bought a day pass, and thrown out, or questioned as being really a guest? I think it will be strange to say, here are our friends the videographer, and the photographer, and I'd be concerned... I'm getting married at the Barcelo Maya Colonial, but haven't signed the contract now, and am now getting really worried because they're saying absolutely no outside vendors, not even firedancers or anything... But that's fine, it's just the photographer and videographer I care about. Should I make a last minute switch to Grand Palladium (even though my STDs are out), or just risk putting our photographers on the guest list?? Thanks.

Yay, they got back to me and are letting me order another whole set for 30 dollars! That is well worth it to me. So I am pleased. I would recommend them, I just had to order the magnets (79 dollars for 100), and then they did the whole design, and put up with me through 10 iterations until I liked it! So, I would recommend
