  2. Ok first of all I've hear that version of O'sole mio and I love it! My dad is an Italian chef and he plays it all the time in his restaurant. That must have been beautiful with the trio! And Jenetta I have heard your song as well and it is gorgeous!! Amy I listen to that soundtrack all the time. That's so cute that he sings it to you. I haven't even thought of how I'm going to get it played. Do you think we (and by we I mean us brides) can bring an ipod with one of those bose stereos? They go pretty loud. This would save the cost of getting sound systems set up. Anyone have any ideas? -Glenda
  3. Welcome Amber, The first thing you should probably decide is where you want to have your wedding ceremony/reception. There are many different options but I would reccomend picking a resort that will allow you to have the ceremony/reception b/c this will save you lots of money. As Tammy mentioned before, most resorts have WC who can help you out and will usually work with you and your travel agent. Another option is to get a WC for a day like Maye Cortines who a lot of the girls on this site have used. As far as travel agents go I would reccomend Tammy (the host) b/c she is very experienced, great to work with, and had her own destination wedding so she knows exactly what to look for. Let us know if you have any questions about any specific resorts. -Glenda
  4. Ok like most brides I think about the little details instead of the more important stuff like setting a date. LOL. I really want to walk down to Israle Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere over the rainbow". It's from the 50 first dates soundtrack. It has a beachy feel to it. I was curious as to what music you guys are playing when you walk down/or you played when you walked down the aisle. -Glenda
  5. OMG. I think I passed out just thinking about it. No need to elaborate, I got it. -Glenda
  6. Oh this isn't fair!! I love them all! All three of them have been so helpful. What to do, what to do??!!! -Glenda
  7. As usual Tammy you are extremely helpful!! -Glenda

  9. Excercise? What is excercise? Is that the thing that all you girls do to look nice for your wedding day while I sit at work on my fat ars, stuff my face and read posts all day -Glenda
  10. Ann I am so glad you decided to hire Leigh. I love her work it looks so gorgeous and she is so nice! Your pics are going to look gorgeous. And I'm jealous of all the girls who get Juan, I'm like I little bratty girl and I want him, I want him, I want him!!! (as my photog of course) -Glenda
  11. The lawyer in me tells me to never have these done for fear that they would end up on the Internet somewhere. But if people feel comfortable doing them they should totally do it. I'm sure husbands love this stuff! -Glenda

  13. I've seen that dress before it is stunning!! I am so happy for you. Especially since I would have jetted to the register if someone told me my waist resembled anything thin. I love, love, love the wine color sash. Great theme for a napa wedding. Can't wait to see you in pics. -Glenda
  14. Ahhh, everytime I hear mention of PV weddings I think of all the stars who got married there (I believe Mario Lopez & Ali Landry, Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddy Prince Jr., Heidi Klum & Seal) and I get so exicted for you guys. Ann, Amy, Haley and all you other PV brides are going to have a stunning, beautiful wedding and I just can't wait for all your weddings to take place so that I can see pics, pics, and more pics!!! Okay I think I have "wedding high". -Glenda
  15. That is stunning!! I feel like everything is falling into place with your wedding plans. -Glenda
  16. Welcome!! Playa del carmen is gorgeous! I have been there once although for the life of me I can't remember where I stayed, even though I do recall it being an AI. I will try to find out where I stayed b/c it was gorgeous, affordable and I remember there was a wedding that took place there that looked really nice. Best of luck with all your planning. -Glenda
  17. And what may I ask is a "Roman Soldier". Oh god I don't think I want to know!!! -Glenda

Thanks Sarah. I'm pretty sure I am going to go with Dreams now it's just a matter of a date. I would like to do it in Nov. 2007 but a lot of my FI's friends are teachers, my sister is in college and it seems to be a really inconvenient time to go if no one can get off. I may have to hold off and do it in the summer of 2008. Uggh why didn't anyone warn me that DW can be just as stressful as weddings at home? -Glenda
  20. I think buying dresses online is risky, but if you live somewhat nearby you should totally go check it out. I would just hate for you to spend a lot of money and then not be happy with your purchase. Maybe if you purchase something with time and then you don't like it, you will still leave yourself enough time to go buy another dress. -Glenda
  21. Congrats on the wedding!! I am so happy for you and I am so glad that everything turned out great. You look beautiful and those centerpieces are to die for!!! Enjoy the rest of your stay. -Glenda
  22. Darlene thank you for posting all this information. These places look stunning!!! It will def help future brides who want to get married here. I haven't gotten in touch yet with my aunt but as soon as I do I will get as much information as I can for you. Best of luck with everything. -Glenda
