I'm sorry that you are having so much trouble with this. I am getting married at Dreams Cabo and I just had my TA set the date up. I am not even thinking about contracts since my wedding is so far away so I don't know how this works. But I agree I would get a TA especially if you are having so many guests. In the long run I think a TA will help you out a lot. -Glenda

This is the one thing I always wanted to do. I fell in love with so many villas on cabovillas.com that all I wanted to do was rent one and hold my wedding there. I wanted a casual and private event. My FI wanted a tremendous wedding with every friend and acquaintance that he has so we compromised and we are having it at the Dreams in cabo. I don't know anything about having a wedding in a villa b/c I never got far enough in the research process to inquire about price and other info. But I think it's such a wonderful idea, but I am biased b/c this is what I always wanted. Let me know what you find out I am def curious and would love to hear all of the details!! -Glenda

I am planning on order the straw fans from oriental trading and then affixing ribbon to the bottom of the handle, and creating the program on my computer and affixing it to the actual fan. Then I will place them on each chair. I need to cut costs somewhere and this is def where I am going to do it. I think they are so cute but honestly most people will probably leave them behind somewhere or forget them. So I don't think it is worth it to go crazy on this item. -Glenda

There actually already is a thread for this. I am just so crazed at work right now that I can't get it for you right this second. But as soon as I can I will. I am giving them each a photo album which pics from the wedding. I also want to keep it simple. I know some girls are getting tickets to concerts. Others are giving each set of parents a framed pic with their wedding picture inside. -Glenda

Sorry I am coming into this late, I have been crazed at work. Anny I love all the pics. The Mariott is gorgeous (it really is too bad about the water eating up the beach). I love, love, love the gazebo. I must admit though that I did love the church also, it's so pretty. But I think the gazebo is stunning and it's going to look gorgeous. Hopefully your ceremony won't be too long if it starts at 3 and you will still be able to get good pics before it gets dark. Also I think in July there will be sunlight for longer. I also loved the pics of the FA. I wish you were getting married next week so that I could see pics. Hehe, at least I'm not selfish right? It looks like you are going to have a great wedding. The locale is amazing!!!! And this is why you are going to be a great moderator b/c you take great pics and get pics of things such as the bows that other brides may be wondering about. I haven't been around for the last couple of days b/c I have a huge case overload, but as usual when I pry myself away for even a second Ana Nicole Smith dies and Anny and Amy have become moderators. OMG I am so sorry about your horrible experience. At least you married someone you love and that is what is most important. I know it's awful that you didn't get the things you asked for but I'm sure your guests had a wonderful time. And hopefully once you get your pictures they will be beautiful. -Glenda

Angie I went to Macy's this weekend and had to get 3 different gifts from 3 different registries and you could not even imagine how much stuff they had on their list!!! I didn't even know some of this stuff existed, much less than people needed it. I can't even cook so I can't imagine registering for stuff I don't even know how to use!!! But you know what, if your going to get a discount at the end for all the stuff the people don't buy you then you might as well go gun happy and scan everything you want. Also a lot of people won't be able to come to your DW and they'll want to get you a gift so it will probably give them guidance as to what to get you. I don't live with my FI so we will def end up registering for a lot of stuff. -Glenda

I have never even been to Cabo and I already booked my place. I don't know when I will be able to do a site visit, but I wanted to have a place booked. I don't think it will be a problem for you, since you are going next month and you will have more than a year until the time of your wedding. -Glenda
