  1. oh how cute, have a blast with her. I love puppies but totally don't miss potty training.
  2. If you are doing your church ceremony before you leave, don't wear your dress because then it ruins it for your beach ceremony. I say get another dress, why not get a dress you can wear for a ttd session?

  4. okay well here are a few of our funny ones, the first is my husband and the boys trying to sneak in a little tough guy attitude, the second is my dad sticking his tongue out (I have no idea at who or why) and then the third is us recreating the grooms cake topper which was the bride pulling the groom to the wedding.
  5. I have no idea how I missed this thread, these are funny. We have a couple of really funny ones too. I will have to go dig them up.
  6. Have a perfect wedding day!!! Can't wait to see pictures.
  7. what a beautiful ring! Congrats, can't wait to hear all the details.
  8. I need help. My DH and I decided to get a GPS for our car. I am always getting lost in our area and we are driving to NYC this winter for Christmas. So anyway, just wanted to know if anyone else has one and how they like it. I like the text-to-speech idea, where it tells you what the street name is instead of just turn left here. I also like the traffic updates thing but its not entirely necessary but would be really nice. A bigger screen would be nice. Suggestions would be fabulous! Thanks ladies.
  9. I don't come up with the ideas alone, the mods are very creative! I totally don't want to take credit for it alone. Robin I am so happy that we were able to make your family happy! You deserve it!
  10. Carly I think a thinner band with a mixture of yellow and white diamonds would be beautiful. I wasn't sure if the ones you posted were something you wanted with all yellow, but I think a mix would be beautiful
  11. Hi Ladies, I just wanted to let you know that I have ordered Robin's gift. We went ahead with the movie idea but instead of buying movies for them, I got a subscription to Blockbuster Online for them (it is for 6 months) and then we also got them a gift card to a local sporting goods store (we were trying to do something manly for Frank) and figured that he would be able to utilize it to do something fun with the family or to aid him in his recovery. I want to thank you all for making my job as the emergency fund person so easy. You are all amazing....
  12. I have to agree send out the save the dates now and you can always ask for a preliminary RSVP and then sometime in the summer send out invites
  13. Tami, I never saw this thread before, I think thats a beautiful ring and you will love looking at it on your hand. I had to get my front ring sized bigger as well, because having three made them almost seem smaller.
  14. Maureen you look beautiful, and I love that your hubby surprised everyone with a ring for your daughter...love the pic of the best man crying!
  15. I think Maureen (mobride) lives in Jersey and she did BD photos that turned out great, maybe her photog can recommend someone or would be willing to come into the city for you. (not sure how far away from NYC she is)
  16. Ashleigh, you look beautiful. Very cool and no not many people do this, I think its a midwestern/southern thing, because my grandmother wanted me to sit for bridal portraits but I wasn't really into them since no one I know does them.
  17. this year goes by really quickly! Enjoy it!!!
  18. Carly-Sarah actually told a few members, including some of the mods and we went ahead and put together the gift. We should have made mention of it but we weren't sure Sarah wanted to make it public knowledge. For those of you who don't know what is happening. We put together an emergency fund, and in this particular case we had some money and were able to do Sarah's gift. We purchased a gift card to a store called Chapters which is the Canadian version of Barnes and Noble and a starfish necklace to remind her that BDW is here for her while she is going through her treatments.
  19. oh it came in perfect time then! I am so glad it got there!!! Get lots of fun books to read to keep you busy.
  20. Tami I think that Tom should wear a different shirt and it would be cute for the dad's to wear something different as well.
  21. I like #1 just for resort wear, but I voted for #3 because my hubby said that is what he would have chosen for his guys of the four
  22. it might be that you are the first post on the next page and until someone else replies you cannot see your post. That seems to be a trend lately.
  23. Julie I let Tammy know and hopefully when the forum gets fixed this will fix itself
  24. just put the url of it up here. I usually open BDW in two windows/tabs and then just copy and paste the url into the message box. you don't always have to use the globe with the chainlink on it if you just put the url it will automatically link it
