    Maureen this is such great advice, and I have to agree about the sheets even in the middle of the summer it was like that, we stayed at the Couples in Ocho Rios for our Honeymoon. As for the ketchup they have a more sugary ketchup and ours in the US is more salty, both my hubby and I were so happy to have normal Heinz once we got home. ps. I see your cycle ticker, are you TTC?

    try to cut back on your salt intake, you will retain water if you have too much salt.

    Alyssa and Jen we have been doing the same thing since we have been together. We have always tried to get something every where we go. We also have a few other random ornaments that family have given us over the year. Each year we go out and buy something fun that reminds us of our year-this year we got a wine barrel ornament to symbolize our wedding

    you have to copy the image code or go to the advanced reply page and there is an insert pic icon there. but photo bucket has the image code so you can copy and paste it directly onto the quick reply area.

    we will be going on a family cruise in 2009, my parents love Hawaii but we decided with two infants (mine and my sisters) Hawaii isn't realistic so at least with a cruise there is something for everyone. probably a carribean cruise.

    personally I don't plan on flying in my 3rd trimester. I flew from DC to Reno in my 6th week and it was miserable just having to keep getting up to pee and I cannot imagine sitting in those seats when I am that big. I would have her speak to the airlines and her dr. if she really wants to go.

    Thanks Girls! It was pretty exciting, we were actually supposed to hear the heartbeat today and the Dr didn't think I was far enough along to hear it with the doppler so he said come with me and we'll do something better and took us to the U/S machine. It was totally moving around like crazy, so very cool. The reason I had this at 10 weeks was because my first appointment was at 6 1/2 weeks and since my mom was in town they let me move up the 11 week appointment to 10 weeks. Now I will be back to going every four weeks.

    Shelley those pictures are beautiful. I am so glad you had a relaxing weekend. I am sure it wasn't easy but you are so strong and you will have a beautiful wedding.

    I think the bag is a great option and then in each of their bags you can put some goodies (like the less expensive earrings and necklace) and then for your sister you can add a little something, what about going and getting manis and pedis together just the two of you.

    We have four mothers (two real mom's and two step-mom's) They are all incredibly different people but here is a picture of all the parents-we had a church ceremony, so my family is all a little more dressy than you would be at the beach, but hopefully this will help your mom feel like she has some options. and here is my mom's dress, she walked me down the aisle so she needed something to blend with my dress my mom had a little coat thing for the ceremony that came off for the reception
