    I like the color photo and I am not sure I like the Mike and Morgan and the date on the top, it makes it looks more like a STD not an invite.

    you could get them printed at Kinkos? we got our STD's printed there and we did liked them.

    mpix is better than vista print, a couple of the pro photogs have suggested that site for us gals wanting to get our pro pics printed nicely

    Jamy if you are getting china from family and you don't think you will use it then return it and get something else like a dyson or something. I don't think China has to be super expensive, and it can be something nice to have but if you are going to have to buy a whole bunch and spend money on something you don't think you will use, then just wait for the china you will get passed down.

    you know I made all my invites and I had to send out tons, but they have those sets you can print on for like $30 at Target, but I have some that I never used if you want to buy them off me, I bought them on clearance, they are really simple white cards with a silver/pearlized scroll around them. I will try to take some pics of them if you want.

    great advice, I actually always have the plastic personalized luggage tags becuase I don't trust those paper ones will actually make it through the flight.

    good luck, last year I had about 6 months before my wedding and so I joined weight watchers and lost 10 lbs by March, I stopped going just because I was super busy and thankfully didn't gain any of it back before the wedding. I am sure I will be doing this in 2009 after the baby is born

    I got most of my supplies from gartner's outlet website Wedding Invitations, Wedding Favors, Programs, Save The Date Cards, Thank You Cards... I made everything myself though

    hmm well is there an advisor your FI can talk to at school and find out what the chances are he will have to change the date? I wonder if he can arrange his schedule for that particular week and meet you there.

    So why not ask your mom to plan a fun day out, like a ladies lunch sort of thing and ask for donations to your favorite charity instead of presents. It might be fun to have a fun day with your friends
