  1. welcome to the mod squad!! You are a very welcome addition!
  2. I did two guest books. For my rehearsal/welcome dinner I made this one basically on each page was a quote about love and then each person/couple wrote us a little note of advice. Then my MOH went around and took pictures of all the people which will be put at the top of each page. I haven't put it all together yet but plan to before this baby arrives. at my reception we did framed mats and then added two of my favorite photos from our wedding. I can't find any photos of it right now, but I will find some if you want to see. I went to target and got frames I think 16x20 (I had two of them, for over 100 people and they are full), then in the middle is room for an 8 x 10.
  3. Drea, I am sorry subbing is not going very well. Its so hard sometimes, and don't worry so many of my students bomb tests and so be assured it has nothing to do with you being a sub. Heidi, that is super annoying, hopefully your new job wasn't too upset.

Thank you, Gary I Gary, I can see you are having some trouble with your siggy. We would love for you to show off your work in your siggy. We all show our photos work off in our siggy's. Check out this thread and let me know if you need any more help with your siggy. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t866 also just to let you know we appreciate you posting photos of certain resorts in threads, please do not fill up a response with loads of photos. Your siggy and your website is plenty, your work is great and I am sure brides will inquire when they want more info. See the rules Ann posted above. Welcome to the forum, we do love having vendors since they add a unique point of view for brides.
  5. I believe Galit found someone, you can either PM her or do a search.
  6. did you do a search, I know the regular one is not working, but you can use the advanced search. As far as I know if you choose to do a church wedding in Mexico and its a legal ceremony it must be in Spanish. If you are doing a symbolic ceremony then I think you can have a translator. I think we do have a few people who have gotten married there, but not in the chapel. I would look around the Cabo area and see who all got married in churches (MerryMe, Edyta, and KarlaV-they are all older members but still check in from time to time, PM them if you have specific questions). Otherwise AmyH is a moderator and getting married in a church in PV so maybe she can at least help you with that portion the wedding stuff.
  7. we have quite a few brides who have gotten married at the hilton. If you go to the advanced search feature (third from the right on the very top menu) you can search who they used and what all they did. Congrats on your wedding coming up so soon.
  8. well at least this gives you some answers, and I will change the title
  9. I know the regular search is not working well but I know there are some reviews on moon palace, I think April got married there, MsMaze. She doesn't sign on often but you could PM her questions. Try the advanced search and you should be able to find some info.
  10. that's the best part of DW's is they don't have to be on Fridays or Saturdays. I personally wouldn't wait until after the holidays, some people have a hard time taking time off early in the year, at the end of the year a lot of people have days they need to use.
  11. oh how beautiful, it looks like it was a perfect day for her!
  12. we did it in order of how long we had been friends with them since they were all friends. Our Best Man and Maid of Honor had both been our best friends for quite a long time, and then the rest of the party went from there.
  13. you know for our original STD's (for Jamaica before we moved it to Napa) we found these beautiful shell cards from Papyrus and I printed a label that fit perfectly on the inside of the card and just stuck it in there, they turned out really cute. Then I got a stamp of a sand dollar to add a little touch to it. I will try to find one and take a picture, but I don't think I have anymore.
  14. oh how exciting, congrats Maggie and the whole family!!!
  15. you will have to be careful as many cards have a glossy finish on them that might not print
  16. Happy Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day.
  17. we went to Roanoke last year and the place the Wright Brothers memorial is at. You know what might be really cool for photos would be all the painted horses in the front of stores on the main drag there. A lot of the beach areas are private around Roanoke but I am sure you will find somewhere beautiful.

Love, The bitchy teacher Love, Me I am right there with you-however I have it the other way around I have too many parents wanting to come in just to hear how wonderful and fabulous their child is. Parent conferences are not for the A students they are for the ones who might fail, why don't those parents care?
  19. my mom switched me to soy about 6 years ago, but I only drink it with cereal.
