Kelly girl sends a cyber shout-out to Kelly boy, and he answers back. Three weeks of viral flirting leads Kelly boy to head east to Florida to meet Girl Kelly. A couple of months later, he’s relocating – and come October, just eight months after their first connection, Kelly Hildebrandt will marry Kelly Hildebrandt. TODAY’s Jenna Wolfe gave the inside scoop on the strange, unlikely, but all together heart-warming story of the two Kellys, talking with the beaming pair via satellite from Coral Gables, Fla., on Sunday. But first, Wolfe had to figure out how to address that pair without creating an Abbott-Costello routine. “Usually, I’m Kelly girl, and he’s Kelly boy,†the future Mrs. Hildebrandt told Wolfe. And her prospective groom added, “We’ve thought about Hildebrandt squared, but probably not that often.†Kelly girl, 20, recounted her story how, in February, she found herself homebound and bored stiff, so she searched her name on Facebook. She came up with one match; a Lubbock, Texas fellow with the exact same first name, exact same last name, and – bonus! – a torso unrestrained by a shirt. She sent a note: “I just told him I saw we had the same name and thought that was kind of cool, and that I just wanted to say hi,†Kelly girl told Wolfe. “It was like a sentence, the whole thing.†But Kelly boy was intrigued. “I thought she was pretty cute,†he said. He kept the cyber chatter going for a few weeks and then made his play, taking a leap of faith and taking off for Coral Springs to meet his mirror-image name in the flesh. Wolfe openly wondered if Kelly boy’s family might have been shocked by his behavior, but Kelly boy just smiled and told her, “I’m kind of an action-type person, so they weren’t too surprised, and once they met her, they could understand, so it was all right.†Kelly girl’s family was a bit leery as well – hearing as many horror stories about couples hooking up via Internet as ones with happy endings – and Kelly’s mom rode shotgun when the pair first met in person at the local airport. Things heated up quickly, and happily for both Kellys, kinfolk on both sides came around that theirs was a match made in heaven. Kelly boy was so convinced he had met the Kelly girl of his dreams he quickly put in for a transfer with his financial firm so he could be with Kelly in Coral Springs, while she finishes up her college degree. Kelly Hildebrandt and Kelly Hildebrandt heard wedding bells, but they did have one cause for concern: could they actually be related? The couple began poring over their respective family trees – after going back 250 years and finding no common ancestors, knew they were good to go toward a trip down the aisle. To be sure, sharing the exact same names makes it a little crazy come mail delivery time, and the Hildebrandts have already caused head-scratching for at least one business. “Kelly (boy) booked us a cruise, and they almost deleted one of our tickets because they thought there was a typo, that they had put in two of one person,†Kelly girl told Wolfe. “Kelly had to call to explain that there were two people with the same name.†While both Kellys seems to revel in the novelty of their shared names, Kelly boy told NBC he believes there was fate involved with Kelly girl finding him, and then he making the bold move to meet her in person. “I felt like there was a good possibility that before I ever came out to meet her in person, this could be the girl I’m gonna marry,†he said. Marrying a Hildebrandt carries an extra bonus for Kelly girl’s family. Her father is the last male Hildebrandt on his side of the family, and now his daughter Kelly’s marriage affords the chance the family name will be carried on. Wolfe gave the couple one bit of advice when it comes time to start a family. “If you have kids, please don’t name them Kelly, it’s just going to make it so much more confusing!â€

we can close the thread, but I have to say I find it really interesting that you want sympathy until someone disagrees with you...perhaps you need to really take a good look at what you want from the girls here.

I think most of the bachelor's have slept with the women, I believe Bob has the record for the most girls slept with on the show. It was so clear what she was looking for with all the guys, with Ed she walked out of the bathroom in that sweater, she has nothing on and her boobs were totally falling out. I think she should have kept Reid and Kypton.

I have always liked her, I feel bad for her ever since her divorce her life in the public eye has kinda sucked. Its just mean to dump someone like this (on 90210 David broke up with Donna on her b-day/christmas)

it would really all depend if it was your ovulation time, women can only get pregnant about 2 1/2 days per month so if you are lucky enough to be ovulating on your wedding day then you could easily get pregnant. However there are quite a few threads on baby making on the honeymoon, as many girls on this forum did get pregnant on their honeymoon or shortly after.

Jamy well said! It took me quite a while to realize that my wedding was my wedding and wasn't the most important day in anyone else's life except my husband and I. I think you need to stop worrying about how everyone else feels. You can't plan a DW thinking that everyone is going to jump on the boat and be a part of it. Most people plan DW's so they can make it more about the couple and not about the family and their wishes. Also I just wanted to remind you that this is a public forum and everything you post is out there in the internet world. I would hate for your FI or his family to see you bitching about his brother coming home from Iraq. IMHO you are being incredibly selfish and need to take a step back to see the bigger picture. You spend a lot of time whining and complaining about things relating to your wedding and other drama. Perhaps you need to take some time to think about why you do this. Why are you so unhappy with all of this? I know this may sound really harsh, but I started to do this shortly before I realized some things about my wedding. About 7 months before my wedding I changed my plans to bring it closer to home for my family. It was causing me so much stress and it just wasn't worth jeopordizing my relationships for one day of my life. so that's my two cents.

I have always wondered why Brody wasn't on the show more (he was in the first season a couple of times) but he's totally a reality show guy. He had a show with his brother when they lived with their mom and step-dad for a while and then of course the hills.

I really hope they do a second season, this one was super short, we need to see them go to the jersey shore or something. I wonder if Bravo will continue to have Danielle on it since she isn't even friends with any of the women. Even when other housewives shows have had their infighting at least one girl is still friends with the "hated" one.

I totally watch this, whenever I randomly catch it. These types of families are what make me want all girls. They fight a lot but love each other so much.

I totally remember their wedding, how funny. Now I can put all the pieces together. They really did have 750 people at their wedding. It was HUGE and he was the one that kept inviting people.

okay I am going to totally disagree with you girls about Kate being the entire cause of this divorce. Sure Kate was bitchy there is no doubt about that but who wouldn't be stressed out and bitchy with 8 kids running around. Jon let her rule the roost (he even said so last night, and never ever stood up for himself). For Kate I think she would have been less bitchy to him if he would have taken some initiative to do something. From what I have read about them, he has had a hard time keeping a job and has always been a little lazy and immature-that to me was incredibly clear last night when he obviously wanted to just give up with out trying to seek out help and just quit. Seriously how can you just have renewed your vows last summer and then jump so quickly to divorce. I don't think he has tried, I think he shut down and didn't give the marriage a second thought. He's going through an early mid-life crisis (he got a motorcycle, got his ears peirced, has a spikey haircut). As for Kate, I do think she has realized how she behaves with him, she even mentioned it last night during the house building part of the episode. It was clear that she was nervous to even speak her opinion to him with out him totally flying off the handle. I don't blame her for being the way she was with him, she does have an OCD personality, and was trying to do the best for her family. I have times when I am a snarky bitch, don't we all...ours just aren't on national television for the world to see. the blame for their divorce is all about her, the radio was even talking about how her "rudeness" was worse than his cheating. There is nothing that can excuse cheating, nothing in my opinion. Personally I blame him for not being more of a man and taking care of his family, if he didn't want all the media attention then he probably should have kept a decent job and taken care of his family. She sought this all out because she needed to take care of her family since he wasn't interested in doing so.

Mo the article said John is looking for an apartment in NYC but I don't see how that's possible since he's at home more often with the kids. I imagine she would be the one that could actually make the house payments because I bet she was smart and kept her book money seperate
