well I am a teacher so our salaries are published. I would make a lot more if I had been able to finish my masters but when we moved I had to stop my program. Hopefully I can start again after DH finishes his.

I think the majority of the girls on here choose to use AI's for their weddings and I think most guests will find it to actually be a very affordable option (but be reasonable in your choice, choose one that is affordable)

I work for another 8 days but the kids have until June 20, graduation day. We don't start until after labor day and go an extra four days of school for state testing in VA, its annoying to get such short summers but o'well. My sub is the person I took over for last year, so that is going to be nice since she was a teacher for a long time and then retired. We meet next week to go over the plans, but I will only be gone the last 11 days of school. Thanks for the links on the gowns, I will look at them this weekend, I agree that it might be hard to ruin something that's brand new but honestly for $20 which most of them are, I would rather just wear something I am comfortable in.

As Shelley said no its not too late to donate, I am actually waiting for some stuff to clear but wanted to get Ann part of the donations since they were checking out of the hospital today.

oh we are bringing the laptop too, but I don't know how much I will get on it, certainly not to do grades, my sub is taking care of final grades for me. I will more than likely sign on to the forum though.

We will be home for Hot August Nights and I hope it rains at least one of the days, I love the summer thunderstorms in Reno.

Just wanted to let you all know that after much chit chat and seeing all your comments in the donation thread, the mods and I decided much against our tradition of just giving people money Ann's situation qualified as a special circumstance. We had planned on a Visa Gift card but a couple of people mentioned that those can be a pain in the rear sometimes to deal with and also because getting mail to Ann in the next couple of days might be difficult I wound up sending her your donations via paypal. I hope you are all okay with that and understand why that was the best thing to do for Ann and Paul and of course little Gwen. Lastly, let me tell you girls are the most generous people on this planet, I cannot even believe the amount of support and love you all have given over the last week since Ann went to the hospital. I know that her and Paul appreciate your support more than you all can ever know. Anyway-that's the story and I have told Ann that she must provide more pictures in return for the gift!!!
