She is on her summer hiatus anyway so I doubt that would work...sorry to bum anyone out.
  2. why didn't I think of this, my grandfather lives in Walnut Creek and has an airplane, I bet he couldn't fly that long but he might have a friend...let me e-mail him.
  3. Catherine I have the same situation usually. I call them scrabble names. Because clearly their parents took out the scrabble box and just threw some letters down to make a name.
  4. no I called the rebate center three times now, I have a new confirm # and mailing date now...so I should get it by next week.
  5. I would say our first name for our girl is unique Ainsleigh
  6. my mom just got one and is happy with it, I am sure she got it at costco, I bet she got a good deal on it, so if you have a costco card check out what they have-usually they have a bunch in the stores but they also always have a ton of stuff online.
  7. oh they don't send checks anymore, you have to get a pre-paid visa card now...we were planning on buying the baby swing with the card
  8. I read that they are scheduled to do 19 episodes so they should really get into these women's lives this season. I am really happy its back.
  9. this little man says it all...I just got off the phone with the ATT wireless people and they are sending out a 3rd card for my rebate. I got my new phone in FEBRUARY! Seriously why can't they freakin get it right
  10. oh don't do it if you only have three days, that's not enough time to get it all taken care of-you will be mid process and then half your id's won't match, you don't want to risk getting stuck somewhere. I know its exciting but think about how fun it will be to go do it all after you get home (and you'll be all tan for your new DMV picture)
  11. so a lot of people seem really shocked about Steve's character but if you all remember when they first started dating they had the numbers talk and he mentions that his numbers are really high because after all being a bartender he meets a lot of girls...he never tells her how many but that he meets so many women at the bar-so I actually wasn't shocked he cheated-I think it was the perfect story line for them-Miranda needed to see him and what he was for her, and he needed to realize that he was a family man now.
  12. wow that is pretty serious, I agree with Jessica run a virus scan, I bet you got some sort of virus.
  13. looks like a perfect day! Congrats! Did Rayden have fun...we need a close up of him all dressed up.
  14. Jessica Alba Gives Birth to Baby Girl June 9, 2008, 12:15 PM EST Zap2it.com Jessica Alba is enjoying motherhood just in time for Father's Day. The actress and her husband Cash Warren welcomed a baby girl into the family on Saturday, June 7, reports People. Honor Marie Warren is the couple's first child. Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, first met on the set of "Fantastic Four," on which he was a director's assistant. They've been dating on and off since 2004 and finally got engaged last December shortly after they confirmed that they're expecting their first child together. They tied the knot in a quiet civil ceremony at a Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19. Also up for Alba is her appearance opposite Mike Myers in "The Love Guru," hitting theaters on June 20.
  15. Martha I know this might not be an option but since we are going home for two weeks we plan to buy diapers and wipes once we get there, that will be once less thing to pack, so think of anything you might be able to buy on your trip so you don't have to pack it. Also if you are going to Europe you will want a good stroller for all the walking, not a cheapy umbrella stroller because you don't want to risk it falling apart or breaking while you are there. So consider that when you register for one. We got a baby jogger stroller as our main stroller, it folds in half (its not super light) but we can use this for heavy travel and walking, Baby Jogger: Manufacturers of the finest strollers for more than 20 years I personally didn't want to bother with a graco type one because I would rather only get one stroller. Also check on the car seat guidelines in the countries you will be going to, you never know what their laws are compared to ours. Good thing you have the summer off to plan this trip! Oh and get married too...you are a busy lady!
  16. I am staying inside, let me tell you an extra human being on your body does not help the heat. Will and I had to wait until after 8pm to take my labor inducing walk last night (trying to take a walk every night-they say it helps bring labor on)...today I am staying inside and doing nothing because I cannot be outside in this.
  17. I just didn't like how they went from her taking Amanda to school all bandaged up-I knew something was wrong with it because the one girl wouldn't eat in the beginning, then they flash to the train station and she isn't scraped up at all and in a fancy dress...so odd!
  18. I thought it was so confusing, but it was good.
  19. we will probably only fly about twice a year but when we go we stay for two weeks at the holidays and most likely starting next summer we will stay for a month. I am hoping we move home by the time she is 3 and I get preggo again.
  20. make sure you get all the necessary vaccines before hand because traveling out of the country is different than just flying around the US Dr. Sears talks about traveling to other countries in his book AskDrSears - The Vaccine Book We will be flying with Ainsleigh when she is 5 weeks old and then again at Christmas time when she is just under 6 months. I have also heard about the feeding thing, let's hope it works!
  21. I am sure you will be fine Lisa, think about the things even our moms did when they were preggo and we are all normal and fine!
  22. with STD's you really don't need to be formal about the address and labels are fine. For our formal invites we did clear labels with a fancy font and I bet the post office appreciated it. As far as how to address them, once you do your formal invites I would go with proper formatting
  23. Amy you look amazing! You are getting so close to your big day, I am so incredibly excited for you...the veil looks perfect by the way!
