Met Biggest Loser Twins...Bill and Jim
Christine replied to anniebananie's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
very cool, I love the biggest loser and I was so happy they won last time, it was cool to have them win. -
Karma, Mine came in super early too, I have been wearing pads since February. Lately I can see it leaking so I think I will be good on the milk production end.

hoping the extra special moon will help break my water tonight!

That Huge Moon? It's Just an Illusion By Robert Roy Britt,LiveScience Posted: 2008-06-18 13:43:44 Filed Under: Science News (June 17) -- As the full moon rises this Wednesday, many people will be fooled into thinking it's unusually large. The moon illusion, as it's known, is a trick in our minds that makes the moon seem bigger when it's near the horizon. The effect is most pronounced at full moon. Many people swear it's real, suggesting that perhaps Earth's atmosphere magnifies the moon. But it really is all in our minds. The moon is not bigger at the horizon than when overhead. The illusion will be particularly noticeable at this "solstice moon," coming just two days before summer starts in the Northern Hemisphere. The reason, according to NASA, lies in lunar mechanics: The sun and full moon are like kids on a see-saw; when one is high, the other is low. This week's high solstice sun gives us a low, horizon-hugging moon and a strong, long-lasting version of the illusion. If it's any consolation, space station astronauts report the same effect. Here's how it works: Your mind believes things on the horizon are farther away than things overhead, because you are used to seeing clouds just a few miles above, but the clouds on the horizon can indeed be hundreds of miles away. So if we think something (such as the moon) is farther away, and it's not, then it seems larger. If you remain doubtful, test the idea yourself. Go out at moonrise with a small object, perhaps a pencil eraser. Hold it at arm's length as the moon rises and compare the sizes of the moon and the eraser, then repeat the experiment an hour or two later when the moon is high in the sky. A rolled up tube of paper works well, too. Moonrise times vary by location. On Wednesday, it will come up at these local times at these locations, according to NASA: New York City, 8:58 p.m.; Miami, 8:35 p.m.; Seattle, 9:51 p.m. The moon rose about 50 minutes earlier Tuesday night, when the effect also was noticeable because the moon was nearly full. Oh, and that raises another point: There's no such thing as a full moon. Read more about that on space.com.

they announced it a while back, but I am really happy for Ellen, I always felt bad for her after the whole Ann Heche thing.

Martha, the worrying never stops, once you feel movement you will freak out when you don't feel it. I don't feel a lot anymore because Ainsleigh is too big now and she is settled in my pelvis-also she is facing towards my back so I only feel her when she shifts her booty a little bit, she is sitting in an L shaped so she doesn't even kick me...I actually went to the doc a while back freaked out because I didn't feel her, but apparently its kinda normal towards the end.

They don't harrass tourist with regular snapshot cameras but if you had a whole set up, honestly you look suspicious to them. DC, VA, and MD are beautiful places and I hope you take your son here one day to see the Capital of his nation, its really sad you had a bad experience but you should not assume that's its a bad place because of it. I think its one of the most beautiful cities in the US.

I am so happy about this, truly I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to know that my own brother cannot experience the joy I felt on my wedding day. I am proud of CA for doing this, I hope other states follow suit and that our next president won't be so close minded and stubborn. I honestly believe that one day I will be telling my daughter that not all people, including her uncle were allowed to get married and she will laugh and think that is crazy, just as I look back and think it was crazy that women were not allowed to vote. Jeremy bugs me, I actually really like Jason.

Martha I bet you have felt it you just didn't realize, I don't think I really realized it until after 20 weeks and then I was like, oh that was it, I have been feeling that for a while now.

I chose someone near the area we got married in. we got a great referral from Leigh Miller who I trust with many photo decisions and it just worked out that he happened to be in Northern California, otherwise I wouldn't have minded flying someone in, but in our situation there was a ton of amazing photogs located in the SF Bay area. Because we live 3,000 miles away we didn't meet Matt until a few days before the wedding but e-mailed back and forth a few times and watched his website for new updated photos. We are incredibly happy with our photog decision

we did not tell anyone we were trying, because we really were supposed to just be off the pill for a year then start trying, but it happened right away for us...I think it depends on the person, I was off and on the pill for a long time and was able to get pregnant first time out, however I know a lot of people who needed to be off the pill for a while before it works. You really only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant every month. As for people asking you, they will ask you at your reception...honestly.

anxious is just one of the many emotions...

um well the annoying thing is that my Dr's think my due date is Friday so probably wouldn't be induced until next week...I had a 25 day cycle the month I got pregnant but the Dr's seem to believe that all women have perfect 28 day cycles, so I go in Friday morning, we shall see what they say. I actually don't want to be induced, I am fearful of pitocin, but I also really don't want to be pregnant anymore.

I was thinking that Sean needed to go as soon as they showed his tanning bed and sauna in his stupid 5 bedroom house and his hummer...umm I bet he has a mirror in every room in his house.

one of the photogs posted something a few weeks ago...I can't remember where it was though. I think Mt. Vernon would be amazing, not sure if they do that there or not, but there are tons of old plantation style places in NOVA. As for DC, any of the museums would be pretty awesome (like how Carrie in SATC got the NYC library)

oh Mo I am so sorry you are getting sick-I hated being sick but just keep your belly full with bland food and hopefully it will pass soon.
