  1. Darlene, I had a similar problem and I invited everyone, but as it got closer, so many people started himming and hawing about the money and getting time off. I am sure you will have a little less than you expect. I would still invite everyone so you don't offend anyone and see if your resort/videographer can do a web stream for those who cannot make it, or just send out a video when you get back. Begin calling the resorts you are looking into to book a block of rooms, you would hate for someone not be able to come because everything was booked, I would work with Tammy (host) on that. Let us know if there is anything else we can do... ps. Glenda, wow you are really rockin' this forum, for someone who claims to not be into the wedding details ) I hope all this time on the forum is helping you to make some decisions about your wedding!!!

I am not sure how big the invites are or what you want them to say but it is fairly simple and could save you on the cost of printing. Sarah, where do you order the custom stamp? I feel like I am a pretty crafty person, so I think I can do it, but just need to know where I should go to get started. Thanks
  4. I like the halter, I think the tie across the middle is very flattering on every body type and totally rewearable...
  5. cute new pic Amy!! I was watching a video sample from a videographer last night and the groom looked so excited and so now I am thinking that I should wait? I am really torn on this one.
  6. so cute Sara. I just ordered some from creative montage. I hope they turn out as cute as yours.

    Hey All

Welcome...can't wait to hear all your details. This site can be a great resource and somewhat addicting, everyone on here is so wonderful.
  11. They always have reruns (of course the really NC-17 parts-mostly Samantha's scenes have been taken out) on TNT and now I believe the CW (I think that's its new name).
  12. Does anyone know how I can do embossed invites myself. I already bought the invites in a do it yourself kit (just to do with a printer) on clearance at Target one day. I am going to add a ribbon to make them cuter, but I would love the lettering to be more than just printed from my little old HP printer. Gartner Studios uPrint Home Page Its really hard to see on the website, but it has pearl colored embossed swirls around the borders.

I just know that I would personally love to make my own book because it would be my own views of the day and my feelings and emotions going into the book I am going to share with my friends and family, and hopefully children one day.
  20. question...as long as I get the digital images I could do this on my own right? I figure I can, but I wasn't planning on ordering prints or books from my photog just because I think I would like to do it myself, if I could come up with something like this...

oh St. Lucia...take pics of the drive through volcano, I really want to go on my honeymoon there but I think we'll go to Jamaica. Maybe your pics will inspire me!! Welcome to the forum!!!
  22. welcome to the forum, I can help you with Jamaica or California if you have questions about those places let me know.
  23. I am beginning to like the idea of a private moment before hand...it is still going to be special for him to see you walking down the aisle with your parents (for me both my mom and dad will walk me down the aisle), but I also like the idea of getting some of the pictures done before the ceremony. I do want my pictures of the two of us to be after the wedding though (becuase then we'll both have our wedding bands on)
  24. Amy and I found each other again through myspace...we had e-mailed some after high school, but basically had lost touch until about 6 months ago, then when she got engaged she told me about this forum...now we are obviously having fun together on the forum...sorry for the confusion.
