Natasha, I just got a little teary eyed...I think that hearing that has helped me to realize that if I try to get pictures "out of the way" I will not be putting what is important as a priority. I have been really torn on this issue thanks Natasha and Shawn ps. really weird but my dad's name is Shawn and he and my mom got married on 11/11/77...

Kate, if at all possible see if they will let you take pictures in the dress. I was totally unsure so I had my mom take pics of me in the three dresses I liked, and once I saw myself without the pressures of the bridal shop I wound up deciding on a dress that I never thought I would get based on what I looked like in the pictures. I thought to myself, when I get my pics back I want to feel good about it and feel timeless. My advice, think about what you want to be able to look back on and feel like on that day. ps. that dress is beautiful, I am sure you will look beautiful in anything you pick. oh and being preoccupied by the dress and wedding details is normal-it better be or all of us are abnormal!!!

Ann I think that will be so romantic. I think a lot of resorts offer small weddings. I know that I seem like a crazy lady, but I really researched a lot about Hawaii because when I lived on the west coast we wanted to get married there...so I actually have a book on Weddings in Hawaii written by a wedding planner there, let me look at it and see what I can find. My cousin also got married there so I can ask her (her husband was divorced, so I can see if that was a problem, but I believe as long as your bring proof of your divorce being final you should be fine)

I was pretty close to being trouble, my grades were due today and I was super behind on grading because I am so distracted by wedding planning...I still need lesson plans for Monday.
