  1. Glenda, I was thinking of just leaving the album on the guest book table, I don't know if I want people to have sit and watch our pictures, not sure if that is annoying or not?

  3. I didn't buy the suitcases just found them on the know, but I think they are just boxes and are probably pretty small. Maybe it would be a DIY project.
  4. What about wearing a veil for the wedding and then flowers for the reception. I think that would be really cool, and I am sure you will get plenty of pics in each hairstyle.
  5. Okay you know how some people have slideshows of their childhoods then their lives together. I have downloaded mypulisher and have been thinking that I would create a photobook of our childhoood and lives together instead of doing a slideshow. What do you ladies think I should do?
  6. I think that would be a good thing for men. I know they would hate to carry around duffle bags.
  7. oh I ordered sweatshirts for my debate team I coach from this place. They came quickly and were good quality. I didn't even think they would have bags. Thanks Kate.
  8. idea with fans Each guest received a straw fan with a note attached from the bride and groom: "Good friends and a gentle breeze are blessings that make our hearts sing...Cheri & Curt."
  9. these could be a DIY Each couple received a frame that fit with their table's beachy theme -- for example, sunglasses, seashells, or flip-flops.
  10. another cute DW idea And at the end of the night, guests received one last treat -- suitcase-style boxes filled with bottles of juice and doughnut holes from Round Rock Donuts. On the suitcases’ handles hung tags that read, “Thanks for traveling with us!"
  11. congrats on getting everything out Christa...your invites were so cute. I know everyone is going to want to come just because of how cute the invites were.
  12. I found this on the knot.com Weddings Gowns Gifts - The Knot Guests received many thank-yous for participating in the couple’s wedding weekend, including welcome bags with travel booklets, sunbathing essentials, and snacks, along with a gift certificate to the spa on the hotel’s property, shot glasses engraved with the couple’s logo, and koozies that read, “To Have and To Hold, and Keep Your Beer Cold.†The wedding also provided guests with many treats: flip-flops found in a basket labeled, “Dancing Shoes,†matches, and cigars, both with the couple’s monogram.

  15. welcome to the forum...we have a few people either honeymooning or getting married in Hawaii. Great place to get married...
  16. welcome to the forum-I saw you were already busy posting and answering a lot of questions for the other girls, I think you will fit in really well around here. Can't wait to hear more about your wedding
  17. I am not a CA resident and am getting married there. this is the marriage license info I got Marriage License & Ceremony To be married in California you must obtain a marriage license prior to the marriage ceremony. If either party is under the age of eighteen, a license cannot be issued without the consent of a parent and a court order. To obtain a regular license the bride and groom (both over 18 years of age) must appear in person and provide information including parents full names and places of birth. If there was a prior marriage, the way in which and date the last marriage ended is required. If the last marriage ended less than 90 days prior to the new license being requested, a copy of the document ending the marriage must be provided. The fee for a regular license is $70.00. It is suggested, but not required, that a certified copy also be paid for at the time the license is issued for an additional $13.00. A regular license can be obtained from any of California's 58 county clerks and, once issued is good for 90 days. The ceremony can be performed anywhere in the State of California. We issue marriage licenses between 8 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday except for holidays. Our office can also perform the marriage ceremony if an appointment is made in advance. The cost of a ceremony is $40.00. We prefer that the couple provide at least one witness for the ceremony. We perform ceremonies between 8 AM and 11:00 AM and between 2 PM and 4:00 PM. 18. Glenda, I think I remember when you first joined the forum and you told us you had not done any planning and now you are like the DW guru!!! You can crash my wedding if you want, just make sure you bring a bottle of wine and Leigh and Jonathon to do their artistic thing-maybe Jaun Carlos too!!!
  19. I love the eternity band idea but I voted for halfway around, that is what I decided because the lady at the jewlery store told me the only problem with eternity bands is that they are hard to size, because you basically lose a diamond if they are too big or have to add diamonds if they are too small-which could get expensive.
