They honestly have some decent DIY sets in the stores. they come with vellum and bows. What about doing something like that so you can get them out sooner?

Make your boarding passes a postcard and you will save on postage. Also you can do your rsvp's as a postcard which will also save you money. Just a thought.

I think this website actually has cheaper sparklers, but then getting them to Mexico could be a toughie. You could make the heart smaller?

Kendall Price Photography I went to high school with this women's husband. She has done tons of photographs for friends and they all love her work. She just graduated from a program in Colorado and is now in Texas while her husband goes to law school. She is definetely willing to travel and since she is somewhat early in her career I am sure she can be flexible with her prices. Take a look, who knows, maybe she might work out for someone.

that's my only trouble, it has to be something that won't be too expensive. we have thought of silver platters, mirrors, a clear glass platter (round though) or a placemat

I got some clear labels today, Staples only had 2" x 4" so I would try to find ones that were a little bigger? Anyway I cut off a lot of the top of the bag with a pair of scrapbook scissors to give it a nicer look? I tried the sticker in two places. The candle I used was weird because it had lines in it, so I would need to use a holder that was solid glass instead...but I think the stickers were pretty easy...

So I have had this vision of a centerpiece in my head and could not describe it to anyone...this is basically it, but I would obviously not use my cutting board to place it on...anyway I tied a ribbon around the burgandy candle and put a monogram sticker on the ivory one. I have 20 of the green ones already, but most of them are taller, so the ivory and burgandy ones might need to be shorter for most of the tables. We are thinking of buying real grapes for the reception, who knows, maybe people will munch on them? I also don't really want to use flowers because since we are trying not to hire a florist I think that we would have to buy the flowers so early they would be totally wilted by the time people got into the reception, so I am trying to use the least amount of flowers possible. Another good thing about candles, we have to do our own lighting because the reception is being held in the fellowship hall of the church, so no lights can be on (that would be weird) so we are going to string lights all over, but it would be nice to provide some lighting at the tables. what do you all think-be honest.
