welcome to the forum, don't worry about lurking around, soon you will be on here all the time. Can't wait to hear what you have planned so far.
  3. okay here goes 1. deactivate pages you are not currently using 2. if possible change the font and make it a little bigger (I wish I would have done this on my site) 3. add pictures where ever possible (you have a great start on that though) 4. that's it...otherwise it looks really great, good job.
  4. Tammy our host is a TA I know she is super busy, but if she can't help you, I am sure she can refer you.

    NY Newbie

welcome Lauren, Anny and Jilly are both Cancun brides-there are a whole bunch of others as well. I am sure they can answer your cancun questions. Otherwise let us know if you need help in anyother way.
  6. let me know if you have any other questions...or problems
  7. Tammy I think that if you put Tamm and Cain or we it sounds better because even though most people know the bride plans the wedding it would be bad if it was you who wrote the entire thing...does that even make sense?
  8. Welcome you have come to the right place.
  9. I am going to do something similar to this. You've been such an important part of my life that I could not imagine this happy day without you by my side lending your love and support. Thank you for being a very special part of our wedding day.
  10. Congrats Ladies!!! I am really excited for you to join us.

  13. those are really pretty, my FI told me the taller the better for the wedding day...he said you never wear heels and women in heels are sexy...you can always take them off to dance.
  14. I played with mine the other day, I put it on for my FI, I will have to put it on again and take a pic.
  15. exactly what I was thinking. let me know if you get it done on your own, I would love to see how it works. my first fitting appointment is in a few weeks I might ask the seamstress if they do that there.

  17. Hi again, I am looking through my book, and what I can tell you is the book I bought was written by Tammy Ash Perkins, I am sure she is very expensive but the book is called The best of Hawaii Wedding Book, anyway it was really helpful, I think I ordered it from amazon. She doesn't include any coordinator names, but the book itself is really helpful. The Best of Hawaii Wedding Book | A Guide to Maui, Kauai, and Lanai | Top Locations, Services, and Resources for Your Destination Wedding I will begin to post the information from the book in the Hawaii section.
  18. oh good idea, that might be a lot cheaper and then you can pick your own font.
  19. Maha'ulepu Beach is great spot for exploring. There are petroglyphs in the area, and the water is usually calm due to a protective reef and shallow water. The name Maha'ulepu means "falling together," as in two warriors falling in battle. When King Kamehameha attempted to invade Kauai in 1796, many of his war canoes were sunk during a storm in the channel between Oahu and Kauai. However, a few managed to land here on the beach. The warriors who made it to shore were exhausted. Kauai's defenders caught them sleeping near their canoes just before dawn, and slaughtered all but a few. Those who escaped, fearful of facing Kamehameha's wrath, paddled all the way to the Big Island.
  20. Also known as Keoeloa Bay For many years this was one of the best "hidden" beaches on Kauai. Today, the sandy, rock-studded beach is still beautiful. But it is no longer hidden. A major resort now borders the beach, which means it's harder to have the beach all to yourself - but easier to find a cool drink when you tire of beachcombing.
  21. Hanalei, Kaua'i, ninety-minute drive north from Lihu'e Airport This is a famous movie location and excellent snorkeling area, located at the foot of the Na Pali Coast Trail. Kee Beach appeared in the popular television mini-series, The Thorn Birds. Ke'e Beach offers an inviting lagoon that is almost completely closed off by a coral reef, which makes it a nearly perfect spot to snorkel. With the reef mostly exposed at low tide, you can observe the natural marine life of the beach without even getting your nose wet. The lagoon area is so calm during the summer months that it almost seems like your very own saltwater pool. The location showcases gorgeous views of the Na Pali coastline. The trees bordering the beach provide a welcome relief from the strong tropical sun. This beach tends to get crowded at certain times of the year, might be great for an early morning ceremony.
