    every one is doing so well. So my FH and I decided that we would go ahead and start waking up early, because by the time we get home after work we are too tired/lazy. We both promised each other no hitting the sleep button, we are determined to get at least 30 mins. every morning. I have to get started ASAP so I can be in shape for my party in April.

    Andrea, gold is really expensive right now, try a tungsten ring. My FI found one and it was $450. Also its the toughest metal so it won't get as ruined as gold will. Otherwise try Titanium. Tungsten Rings

    Ann those are so cute, I think the font for the flower girl one doesn't blend with the design, that might be why you are not sure about it. Try a different font and it will be really cute. Did you just use iron on transfers?

    Ann I thought of you at the craft store today when I was there and they actually had some decent ones, but they weren't super long. I think it was Tasha that had hers made, check out Jessalyn's thread on veils I think the link is in there.

    Jilly, I am so sorry they were no help, I found shopping with my mom a little frustrating too, since her dress cost less than $100 in 1977 she felt like mine should also cost that much. I finally found that shopping with a friend was better. If I was closer I would go shopping with you. Go back to DB and see if you can find something similar, to the one you love for less and maybe you will feel better overall.

    I think most people had their legal ceremony at home either just before or just after. Ann is getting legally married on her honeymoon in Hawaii, isn't that awesome to have a mexico wedding and a hawaii wedding.

    Lizzy is right, about some make up products, like Mac makeup works fine with professional photography equipment, but take a snapshot and you will look like the dead, I have no idea why. Try your makeup and take a digital snapshot in low lighting see if that makes you look pale, if not then your make will be fine. Melissa I love the eye makeup.

    ann don't spend that much on a veil. I spent 60 and just got a plain on and will embellish it myself if I decide to do it. I say check out e-bay or other cheaper bridal places like David's Bridal or even another boutique.

    can you make the picture a little larger...If I remember correctly you thought the dress you bought would be too much for dancing, so I think it would be nice to change into for the reception.
