  1. thanks Ladies, I had a pretty good day. Three of my students brought me chipotle and a few girls from work are coming over this weekend for a little dinner and then we're headed to a movie. Will took care of the baby for me (and of course she and I went to yoga).
  2. well if he spills tomorrow that will save me a few hours of watching the rest of the show!
  3. okay cleaning took way longer than planned, now I am off to bed, thank goodness for DVR, I will watch tomorrow.
  4. gosh I really can't think of any place, I know that's terrible since I live here but I guess it would depend on what type of food and where you would want it. We actually just had dinner at Shiro Japanese Steakhouse, that might be a fun place to have a family gathering, well any Japanese Steakhouse would be good. I will think about it
  5. not sure I can stay awake for the whole thing, but I am getting the house cleaned up now that the baby is down for the night, I should be watching it.
  6. I combined your two threads so you get the most of your questions.
  7. I think your decision is going to depend on what type of scenery you want. For your ceremony. If you search around I think you will find some info on all of those locations.
  8. well there are casinos off the strip, Green Valley Ranch is stunning and Red Rock is very modern looking (if you watch the Housewives of OC they just filmed an episode there). Otherwise a lot of weddings happen at the Valley of Fire. As for dinner it will depend on where you pick for your ceremony. Hope that helps. I will let you know if I think of anything else.

I don't know what company they used, but PM starchild a very good friend of hers got married in the valley of fire and it was beautiful. They had a great time. I was engaged there and just to warn you its almost always windy there, but its absolutely stunning!
  10. of course, I think it will be interesting to see what projects get funded.
  11. I don't get what you are meaning about the rose ceremony? Did the producers re-arrange the ceremony? I bet they do that all the time.
  12. oh and Calia, no harm done, I just obviously feel very different than you do. Glad you live in a liberal area that works for your beliefs.
  13. Kelly, I had partial placenta previa early on but my placenta moved, so hopefully yours will move too. Otherwise most of my mommy friends (in real life) had c-sections and all of them are happy they did, especially the ones who had planned ones. Shea, Jada is absolutely beautiful and 9lbs! You are a super woman for delivering such a big baby.
  14. Stimulus Watch: Keeping an Eye on Economic Recovery Spending This is a really cool site, it tracks all the proposals for stimulus funds made by cities and states. You can also vote on how you feel about it. Its a pretty cool interactive site.
  15. Philly bride, I have been thinking the whole time that's what Deanna is actually going to say and that him crying is when he actually has to choose not because of Deanna. I don't think him not meeting her parents is actually that big of a deal, its happened before on the bachelor and honestly my parents would find it weird that I was on a tv show trying to marry some guy who I barely knew and is dating other women. I actually feel bad for her it seems like her parents aren't very interested in her life, she mentioned they never came to her games when she was a cowboys cheerleader, that is sad not that they wouldn't meet the bachelor.
  16. Is Molly the one that had the family who made him draw a picture. If I were him I would have been totally shocked at both her family and Naomi's family. I think he made the right choice. I don't think he will get back with Deanna, the gossip columns would have never let that one stay quiet. I do think he will let Molly go and the final two will be Melissa and Jillian.
  17. Shea I was induced and was only in labor for 11 hours, I probably could have done it without an epidural if I had known that it would be ending soon, but I got an epidural at 7cm.
  18. Calia, just a few years ago the state of Maryland refused to let some parents register their children for school. I am not saying that your comments are untrue entirely but there are some vaccines that are mandatory in almost every state. Also the risk of the vaccine is by far a much better risk than the actual virus. I teach in public schools and there is no way that our students would be allowed to enter without proper vaccinations. Yes there are some ways to exempt yourself but its a huge risk you are taking to assume you will get exempt.
  19. Girls I wanted to let you know that Mo had TJ on Sunday. I will let her post all about it but he came in time to watch the superbowl with his daddy.
  20. Besty, we get this catalog all the time and they seems to have a lot of solutions to this problem One Step Ahead Baby - Bedroom & Bathroom I totally worry about this too, my mom said I wanted to be in a regular big girl bed when I was about 1 years old, so hopefully Ainsleigh will give me a little longer than I gave my mother.
  21. Shea you look fantastic! I can't believe how close you are, I haven't had a chance to check this thread but I saw your question about vaccinations and you should check out the vaccine book by Dr. Sears. Calia mentioned you don't have to vaccinate and that every state has exemptions for public schooling but that is not true actually. Maybe if you are sending your kids to private school but in public schools you MUST have your children vaccinated unless you have a religion that doesn't allow vaccinations. I chose to do a delayed schedule, no more than two vaccines at a time and spread out over the years. We also chose not to do the Hep B in the hospital because I did not feel it necessary to give a baby a few hours old a vax against an STD, we will be giving it to her in a few years though. Let me know if you have any questions.
  22. I was so happy he put that rose down, I don't think anyone has ever done that on the bachelor. good for him for realizing that those girls should go home. Thank god Shannon is gone, seriously what a crack pot. I was a little shocked at the "overnight" date. I think he really likes Molly. I bet the Deanna thing happens the week after next.
  23. Jerome, I fixed the links, so now the first one goes to a slideshow of your photos of the site. The second one goes to the album. I hope this will work better.
  24. oh that's adorable, Jess nice job!!!
