sorry I was off most of the day and didn't see this thread. I was planning to get married at Beaches Boscabel and the ONLY reason I changed my plans was because it was just too much for my family to travel from the west coast. I think its a beautiful resort and you will be really happy with your wedding. I saw one of those "married away" episodes that had a preston bailey packages and preston actually came to their wedding. Honestly I would not pay to upgrade because I think that they decor is a little cheezy, I mean you are on a tropical island why would you want fake flowers? and the private reception is very expensive, that was something my parents were upset about but if you think about it you are getting a free wedding right? I would say if you are trying to save money just do the cocktail hour not the combo. I have some pics the WC sent me, probably the ones you already got but let me know if you want me to e-mail them to you.

that is very rude and tacky. I wouldn't doubt if she invites a lot of people hoping to get gifts... however yes if you are invited you are supposed to send a gift, but I don't think in all situations its necessary. I know my FI's grandma wanted us to invite people we didn't know because they were family and that is what we should do, but we 1. never expected them to go and 2. don't want them to spend money on us, they don't even know us really.

oh yes find your dress first. I bought a pair of earrings that I thought I would wear but now I don't think I will, I think my dress is a stud only kind of dress.

Sorry its so blurry girls, and its super sparkly because it just got cleaned which is making the pictures worse. Basically the ring is a band of princess cut, turned diamond shaped (like a baseball diamond) and I don't think I will get them put together because I want to be able to wear them seperately sometimes. As far as Will's reaction to his present, he loved it and has been smiling since he opened it. He seems to be shocked that I did it and keeps picking a new favorite!
