  1. Fannie, First of all you should check with the airlines and see if its possible. You would be surprised what kinds of arrangements they can make. Secondly, if her traveling to your wedding is this important to you than maybe you should consider a location that can be driven to or a cruise like Erica mentioned. It is so sweet of you to worry about her and you might want to talk to her and find out what her dr. says about traveling.
  2. everyone's pictures look so great! TammyB you had a great idea!!!
  3. I changed mine...let's see how it looks
  4. Sarah your's are always so great, you are really good with the software. Thanks Tammy I did it last night, but seeing Sarah's makes me feel the need to be more creative.
  5. I did mine last night! This is so much fun...
  6. You know Laura I just thought of this...their names are David and Lauren...that is really weird. I will e-mail them and hopefully get the info. The lady was so nice and made it feel more like a wedding than a courthouse thing.
  7. great photos, love the change of attire...you made a beautiful bride.
  8. Lisa that is so funny, I was fanning myself all night by the end of the night I sat down and hiked up my skirt...I should have brought a change of clothes that was a smart idea!
  9. Laura, a couple we know went to the courthouse to get married and they were given the name of a woman who did the ceremony in Ft. Ward on a Saturday morning, it was beautiful and she was really nice. I think they were told it had to be done by a licensed officiant and that the courthouse actually doesn't do them in the building. I can try to get the info for the lady if you want, I am not sure if they still have it because they moved to Japan, but they might.
  10. oh poor Brandy, I got the gate for the back of my SUV for my fur babies as I refuse to let them sit in the front, mainly because they will want to drive with me and they both feel that my lap is big enough for them. Sorry about your car and that the lady thinks she was not in the wrong, did you call the police?
  11. Drea, I think that the photos are good, and I know you aren't happy with all of them, but I think you have enough good ones along with your snapshots and TTD to still have a beautiful album. By no means were the photos of you bad (you looked beautiful) its just the way some of them were set up, like Angela said of her engagement photos, some of them are too posed. which is why you like your TTD because they are not posed.

  13. Jackson has arrived!!! On Saturday afternoon Tammy sent a message to the moderators that her water had broken, of course none of us has said anything until we had the official word that the little man had arrived and was healthy. We don't have any details or pictures yet, but I am sure Tammy will post them (or a moderator will) once we get any more information. Until then, let's all hope the new parents are enjoying the adventure of being a mommy and daddy! Congratulations Tammy and Steve!!! You are going to be amazing parents and Jackson is a lucky little man!
  14. I made all my own and including postage I probably spent around $250 I sent out about 115 invites
  15. Trisha, those are such great photos. congrats again on your engagement and what an amazing proposal.
  16. macy's at Tyson's has a bridal section I went to Davids Bridal there is a new shop in Old Town, just opened about two weeks ago. Next time I am down there I will look for the name of the shop.
  17. I would say if possible do Legoland, my cousins tell me its such an amazing place and even the adults have fun. Also I have heard its not too expensive compared to Disney.
  18. Knott's berry farm is nearby. Also Legoland is a great adventure for four year olds (I have 4 year old cousin who lives in SD and his mom takes him about once a month) Sea World has a children's area that is a blast, the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, the beach...so many great kid friendly things in So Cal. How long do you have him for?
  19. good to keep in mind for future photos thanks...we would love to see some if you don't mind (whenever you get them back)
  20. great job...your grandmother is going to love it...my grandmothers will be getting small photo books for Christmas this year, thanks for the tip on shutterfly.
  21. that is a beautiful dress, very elegant and you look beautiful in it...love the deep v in the front.
  22. So many great places in So Cal. I have a friend who got married at a beautiful park in San Diego over looking the ocean and it was so much fun (and a rather large wedding). Have you thought about doing something like that? Or do you want it on a beach? I didn't get married on a beach, but had a Napa wedding which was great for all my family as we made it a short weekend DW style. You could even do that in So Cal in the santa barbara area. I had a friend get married up there near SB and I think she did it at a winery and her photos were beautiful and it was nice for her guests because it was something different. Good luck and congratulations on your engagement!
