Unfortunately, I didnt tip the officiant : ( We had James Bradley Smith do it. I honestly didnt even think of it and then the day is a whirlwind and then its over. Good that you are thinkinga bout this all ahead of time. You can ask Nicole if the tip charge includes a tip for the officiant. I know it doesnt include a tip for Nicole. OH MY GOODNESS, leaving tomorrow?>? I am sooooo jealous, I want to do it all over!! You will have the time of your life, its simply amazing!! Nicole is so cool too, I totally felt like I could be friends with her (if we lived closer)

After the wedding we went downtown to a place called DeSantos. It was awesome! We actually went there with everyone on Thursday nigfht before the wedding so we figured everyone already knows where it was so we went back there Saturday night. Its a really cool place, all white decor, three levels and the top level is rooftop, outside and has big white beds you can lounge on and all this weird mood lighting, it was so cool, felt like we were in heaven. Thanks for the compliments on my dress. It wasnt a bridal dress, jsut an evening gown. Its a Dina Bar-el, she makes awesome gowns. The redhead, Bree Vandercamp wore the same dress as mine in the Despereate Housewives epoisode when her weird ex boyfriend committed suicide. : ) nice tidbit.

I think you and 3 girls are covered to go over early but if you want to bring more, its like $70 or $80 a person, jsut the normal day tour fee. Plus, I liked that I didnt get to see ERic the day of until I was walking down the isle. That was important to me, we stayed at seperate hotels the night before. Everyone told me the boat ride over was so fun and I am sad I missed it but I think it makes your grand enterence to the ceremony that much more special!

We took the 9 am boat over to Las CAletas. We got there around 10, got massages at the spa, laid out, swam and ate lunch at 1 pm. Then went up to the bridal suite to get ready. The hair stylist came at 2:30. It was just nice to not be rushed and have some girl time before hand. There was a bottle of champaigne in the room for us. They are building a jacuzzi in the back of the bridal suite, maybe it will be complete by June, you should ask Nicole. For the hair, a place called Cocco (or something like that) I had a trail on Tuesday but then a different lady came out the day of the wedding, not part of the plan so I was nervous but thank god I still had the picture, she did it great. She didnt speak ANY english so hopefully you speak spanish or someone you are bringing does

How cool is that, that they have a swing at the bar? I love swings so much that, I have one in the back yard! All the linens were standard. The taupe napkins was a last minute decision, I saw them on table at the site inspection and I asked Nicole to use those instead of the white ones. I am glad I got a cake, I can't imagine a wedding without cake and it was really tasting, even though I only had a bite from someone walking by. : ) I did have a stylist come out and do my hair. My makeup was a joint effort between my best friend and I. I used REbecca's pic (on the forum) for the hair, and it came out great. I paid for two flower arrangements for the ceremony (totally not neccessary) and then I think two more for ceremony come standard with the deluxe wedding. Once the ceremony is over, they move them to the bar or the cake table so thats why you see them in those spots. Oops, I didnt follow your numbers but I think I got them all. Feel free to ask more. Did I mention how fun the bridal suite is? Definitely go early!!!

My placemats never showed up so we just didnt have any and it was completely fine. For the centerpieces, I had small, square vases with sliced limes in them and white orchids. The limes turned out great but I wished there were a lot more flowers in it. Like I said, you really don't need table centerpieces. There are tons of candles on the table and that would be enough. Hopefully you can see in the pics.

We tried to get an extra hour at the last minute and unfortunately, Nicole said we couldnt do it, you have to decide that in advance. I think all the workers already started wrapping up for the night. I think all the older guests were ready to go home anyway but I didnt care!! : ) But, the boat ride back was a blast and then we all went out after till 3 in the morning so we made it last as long as possible.

Hmm, my favorite part for sure was seeing Eric's smile as I walked down the isle. It was all just so sureal!! Everything was so beautiful, I think if I did it over, I wouldnt have gotten any flowers at all. The setting really didnt need it and the dinner area was filled with greenery, ivy plants etc. The butterfly realease was a flop, all the little guys were dead so that was dissappointing but it was no big deal and everyone laughed about it. Ummm, what else, I can not stress enough how fast it goes by. I only had 50 guests and I'm not sure I got to talk to everyone. I would have added an extra hour to it. I wish I could do it all over!!! Its weird, all the planning and everything and then there are som many little things that didnt even matter. Everything was awesome! My husband was blown away that I planned it all over email and he even said a speech thanking me, it was adorable.

ok, ok, so sorry for the delay. I have been sick, jet lag and thousands of picks on dozens of memory cards, too many to sort out! First off, Yes, we gave Nicole $100 at the end of the night. Not sure if this was enough but we didnt plan ahead and it was all we had with us at the end of the night. Yes, I used Roberto Aceves for photography and he gave me the prints and cds before we even left Mexico!! I wasnt impressed with the quality though, some pics were very blury and some prints had a line going down the middle of them. I noticed it more than anyone else of course but I was slightly dissappointed with them. Maybe pics at night are very hard to get clear? Roberto was so fun to work with though and he really loves what he does! I'll post some and you guys can let me know what you think of the quality. I keep trying to upload pics for you guys and its saying invalid file so I think I will upload to Kodak and then post a link for you all....Stay tuned....

I'm baaaaack!!!!!! The wedding was AWESOME!!! So many guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been too. They said it was like a celebrity wedding. The setting is just so goregous at night, you barely even need extra decorations. The fire dancers were totally worth it, people loved them. The bridal suite is so nice, definitelty go out there early so you can get a massage and enjoy just hanging out there. Me and three of my girlfriends took the 9 am boat out there. Umm...what else.... I have thousands of pics to post, I have to go through them but I will post several that will show you guys the setting etc. The food was AWESOME!! I actually stuffed my face at my own wedding and everyone LOVED the food and the cake!!! My mind is scattered, ask me questions and I will be happy to answer! Maris
