Attached is my budget - some of the items are estimated costs, I might have guessed high on some of them, but I am also missing a few things that we plan to buy in Cabo (snacks for OOT & containers for sand ceremony). hope this helps!

I know what you mean! My friend gave me a dance video (for weddings) and we still have yet to watch it!! Hopefully we'll be fine! I think we are going to use the sparklers right when dinner finishes as we make our way to do our first dance. Juan will still be there to get some pics and then it will be a way to get everyone up and start dancing right after we finish our dance!

Sad... I know things are so crazy for everyone right now!! I'm definitely going to be running around this weekend finalizing things! A drink could help though, I could possibly meet on Sunday 5/27 if anyone is free? Otherwise, definitely mid-June when we are all Married!!!!!!

We just wrote our vows this week (finally!) - it was also something that we kept putting off. We have not shared them with eachother but we sent them to my brother who is doing our ceremony for us. We both tried to follow the same idea of 4-5 lines of what we promise or vow to do for the other. My brother is also going to interview us separately about why we fell in love with eachother and he'll incorporate that within the ceremony. I definitely think you should keep your vows from eachother and not share until the day of your wedding! Another nice idea I have heard is: When my brother got married, he inscribed his vows to his wife and her vows to him on 2 small silver plaques. He put it in each of their medicine cabinets so that each day they see/read it & remember their vows to eachother. I might try to do the same with ours... Good luck Jamy!! You are getting married the day before me!! When do you get back from Mexico? It will be so fun for all of us to share our stories!

I ordered mine through my coordinator. They are $2.50 per sparkler (for the giant ones). Christa - is this what you paid? Also, Christa - did you make some announcement or something when you used them after dinner, or how did it work?

I bought the starfish from Shell Horizons - Shell Horizons - Starfish,Shark Jaws,Dried Fish,<br>Seahorses. I got the 4-5" for $6.00 per dozen. Such a great price and they are good quality!! I bought 100. If I had a smaller wedding, I would suggest the bigger size (5-6") since they are measured from the tip of one leg across to another and aren't as big as they sound. It will work fine for me since we have to lay all 100 out on a table and I need the space. But I think the 5-6" might look better if someone wants bigger.

Ceremony is at 5pm so it won't be dark when we enter, that's a good point... I like the first dance idea, or we'll just do it at the end. I'll talk to Maye & Mariana to find out suggestions from them too. We ordered 1 per couple b/c they are really long ... but maybe I should order more? I keep changing my mind on all my last minute things and I leave next Tuesday!!!!!!!!! Tammy - are you all ready? Ann - what about you?

We can't afford fireworks, so I have ordered sparklers for my reception and I wanted to find out how other brides used them. I have heard them used when the bride & groom exit at the end of the night (guests hold them up to make a tunnel). I wonder if it will be too late at that point with everyone drunk and trying to get one more song in... Would it be better to use them for the first dance, or maybe when we first enter? Let me know if any one else is planning to use them and what you are going to do. Or, if any of you already married girls have used them, how did it turn out? Also, we ordered 50, 1 per couple (we have ~100 guests) - is this the right number?

I was going to get my hair and make up (and the bridesmaids too) all done at the Dreams salon, but after hearing Sarah's experience with the make-up, I'm now trying to book Suzanne Morel. Dreams is much cheaper so if Suzanne is not available for all, we may still use it for hair. I'll let you know how it works out once I'm back (june 6). When do you leave I didn't realize your wedding is right after mine! Coming up SO FAST!!
