I'm still not sure about this! I am using Gerber Daisies for bride & bridesmaids and can't figure out if a rose boutonniere will look ok with this. If rose, I also don't know what color of rose to use for FI & groomsmen. Is anyone getting flowers or bouquets for the moms? HOw are you doing this?

I think fake flowers could def be used!!! I was going to try to make some flowers (tissue). Martha Stewart has the directions in her magazine and I think it's posted somewhere on the forum too. I haven't gotten around to it yet. If I was really motivated, I was going to attach a tissue flower to each OOT bag (give it a little color and Mexican look) or I was thinking of using the paper ones for my ceremony (on guest book table or something) - still not sure if I'll actually get around to doing this or if I have the extra in my budget.... has anyone else tried making these??

I've been to Sayulita and LOVED it!! It is a very small authentic Mexican town with great food and really nice people! You can rent houses right on the beach. I went with my FI for a few days for a great get-away! He stayed on after I left for a bachelor party and they rented houses and had so much fun! It's about an hr outside of Puerto Vallerta.

one more quick question - how did you hire the transport company Epic? from the US or thru Dreams? I'm still deciding if I will arrange transportation for my guests or just have them do the public shuttles. thanks!

Hi Sarah - Great review! I'm SO glad you loved it! My site visit made such a difference for me too, I can't wait to go back and get married there!! We are doing the double plate option too (fish & pork - i'm not a beef eater). Did you do a tasting? I loved the food! I agree - Mariana is great! I'm using Maye and Mariana just because we are having a big wedding and Maye is helping with some of the outside coordination and decorations. One thing to be aware of is if the vendors are hired directly from Dreams, they will be more expensive than if you contact the vendors on your own. You could easily get the contact info for the vendors that you want to use from this site and contact them directly. I'm hiring the DJ, photographer, cake and mariachi on my own. I also didn't notice the street noise at all when I was there. Where was your room located?

I'll either get some totes or maybe just go with paper bags and fill with more stuff. I was just looking at your ticker and realize we are only 5 days apart! glenda - you could definitely use a BM dress as a wedding dress!!!! i love the ones you posted! and the price would be so much cheaper than a wedding dress. i had planned to get a very simple siloutte dress as my wedding dress, but the one i actually picked out has a longer train. a lot of people say that when you start looking you end up getting a dress very different than you originally thought. you have time so don't stress too much! i didn't get mine until late december - now it's hard to wait until it's ready (april!)

yes, $2 is a great price - that's why i jumped on it and got 40!! they are great quality and super cute, but just pretty small. the large size is about as tall as a very small water bottle (just like the picture) - i was hoping for a bigger bag that people could fit a towel in. i just wish they were bigger. i'm still waiting for ailana to let me know about the return policy.

I ordered the large ones (she gave it to me for $2 each), however, they are much smaller than I expected! They are cute but they are not really what I had in mind for my OOT bags. They are not beach bags - they are more like a purse. I am trying to see if I can return them. If any of you girls want them, I can ship mine to you. i have 40 of them.... Please let me know!!
