When I was looking for wedding locations I noticed "The Cloisters", beautiful setting but very expensive to book a wedding there. However, maybe you can do some picutres there, it's on the same island and I remember passing it from Atlantis to our wedding location. My wedding on Paradise Island was wonderful. Everything turned out perfect! The weather, the beach, my wedding planner, everything. If anybody is nervous about getting married on the beach, don't be. Everyone that was on the beach that was not part of the wedding was very respectful of our ceremony and even clapped when it was over. I loved every minute at Atlantis/Paradise Island. I'm going to be there in 13 days for my wedding, but will not be getting married there. It is $5000 to get married at Atlantis and they are not negotiable on their wedding package. I am getting married on the beach at the Paradise Island Beach Club for only a fee of $125. I have a wedding coordinator in the Bahamas, and the total package to get married is $3600. I would be happy to refer her if anyone wants her info. I am so glad the Bahamas is starting to get on this forum!

I need them for a minimum of 1 hour, would they at least hold up that long?

Has anyone used hydrangea or bouganvilla in their bouquets? My florist in the Bahamas is saying that they are hard to use and don't last long.

I don't know about a frame on top of a cake....seems a bit too heavy and out of place. (I love the frame though!) Why not just some candy shells on top? Fondant is NOT tasty.

We are having a AHM only because the only people coming to our DW is our parents and my brother. I still want to be able to party with my friends! I didn't invite friends because I didn't think they would be able to afford the wedding. But now my mom and I are constantly butting heads on the AHM. For people that are having a AHM, what are you doing about gifts/money?
