NaM's Del Sol Wedding Pictures from Aventura Spa Palace
soltamargo replied to NaM's topic in Destination Wedding Reviews
Natalia, I have to say that me coming to shoot your wedding with Vincent was a last minute idea.. and I am sooo happy I did it! One of the best and most rewarding things about being a wedding photographer is the opportunity to see "LOVE" at its best, and your day was overwhelmingly charged with it. Your big smile all the time, your graciousness and explosive energy.. not to mention your beauty, sparkled all day long... and as a witness and photographer in charge to document it... was amazing!! I have to say that I LOVED your grandparents, what a lovely sweet people they are.., the speeches, dances, everything was amazing, and I can't thank you enough for choosing Del Sol for this day. GRACIAS GRACIAS!! Wish you a life full of magic! -

Ladies, This is the last report, today is Oct 14. Receive our best regards from Dreams Tulum. We want to inform that we are passing through a difficult situation where Federal authorities had an agency of the Mexico federal government alleging that the ownership of Dreams Tulum does not have certain authorizations, licenses and/or permits in order. The ownership of Dreams Tulum contends that all paperwork is indeed in order and approved by the proper authorities. The authorities have placed restrictions on the resort and we are actively pursuing a court approved stay or parole in order to remove the restrictions and provide all services to our guests while this situation is decided in court. Since some services and facilities are not available and we are therefore not able to offer a Dreams Resort experience, the resort has had to proactively relocate new arrivals until October 31st. to our sister hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya This was done in order to minimize potential disappointments should we not be able to provide all services and facilities at Dreams Tulum and only in the best interest of the guests. We will continue to relocate arriving guests until we are assured that all services will return to normal at Dreams Tulum. We do not have instructions to relocate weddings for November , except for the ones arriving at the end of October , so please send me your guests list to make sure the wedding group is located at the same resort . How would be the logistic for the wedding by itself? Based on this I would like to explain you the logistic , I already have the guests list that the couple sent us We will make sure they go to the same resort so please note that the entire GROUP WILL BE TOGETHER . The couple doesn't have to deal and plan again the whole wedding , Landy , Lizet and Natalia our wedding planners have all her requests and plan as requested , so the wedding planner from DREAMS TULUM and the wedding couple are going to have a meeting the day after arrival fist time in the morning , the meeting point would be the lobby of the new resort , they will make sure the weddings plans go smoothly and coordinate everything for them based in their initial requests, they are going to be also the wedding day and checking all details . We are trying to keep as much as possible your wedding plans as originally planned , we hope that we would be able to open the hotel shortly but we in case we couldn’t , we should be prepared and planned. We really need your help , we won’t split any wedding group so for that reason we need URGENTLY get your list of guests, please fill out attached form, IF YOU do not have the flight info just fill the arrival and departure date that is enough, and overall LET US KNOW IF THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THE GROUP. We will provide more information in this regard as soon as we have it. We wanted to keep you informed and truly regret the inconvenience Sandra Casillas Gerente de Ventas-Grupos Groups Sales Manager Dreams Tulum Resorts & Spa

This is the last bulletin: October 2, 2008 Good morning, We regret that we are still in the process of securing the parole that will enable us to operate Dreams Tulum without hindrance or restrictions. We are still uncertain how long it will take for the authorities to review our permits and/or for us to obtain this parole so in order to ensure guests will have an uninterrupted holiday experience we are once again taking the precaution of relocating all arrivals until Monday, October 13th. Until we are sure that the guests will have access to the entire resort and facilities, we feel this is the best course of action to ensure the guests have an enjoyable vacation. We will continue to work with you on these relocations and Daniel Mellado along with his sales team will be in touch to discuss this further in detail. All efforts will continue to be made to protect our guests in Dreams Cancun and Secrets Silversands when possible. Please rest assured that we will do everything possible to resolve this situation as expeditiously as possible. Thank you for your understanding. Regards, Kevin Wojciechowski Vice President Sales & Marketing AMResorts

I know, it's easy to say so!.. but ... they will respond and offer a solution for you, in the worst scenario that in 2 months they are still fighting., they have an obligation to you, and I am sure they will make it up to you., finding an alternative place if they can't give you the service. But again, I think it will be ok by then. I will keep you posted with fresh news every day...

Hola, I just received an email from a future bride that is considering Dreams Tulum for her wedding next year., she is so worried as she read that the hotel is closed down for government inspection. So, I called my best friend who works there, she has been a wedding coordinator and now she is the sales manager. I talked to her 5 minutes ago, and she was at the Cancun airport redirecting "dreams guests" to another hotel., but she told me this situation is only momentary. Dreams Tulum can't afford to be closed for more than a week, so they are doing everything in their power to fix whatever problem there is with the government. I thought i should post this, as they situation could create some panic in future brides that have already booked their weddings at Dreams Tulum. So ladies, if your wedding is next week... I'm sorry.. it will likely be moved to another location, but no worries it should be great no matter what, this is low season and there are hundreds of rooms available anywhere.. and you probably will end up in a nicer place... And, if your wedding is next month or next year... it will all be ok.. relax... this situation will get solved soon.

So, I had my surgery and after about 2 months I thought I wanted to go bigger. I started out as a small 34B, After my first surgery where I chose to have 330cc anatomical saline implants placed I went to a medium 34B. When I had my breasts redone to go bigger, I chose to have 440cc round saline implants which made me a medium 36C. I had my surgery when I was 24. At 34, I think these implants are waaaay too big and am planning to have them reduced within the next few years. It is very frustrating to not be able to wear many types of tops - including big snuggly sweaters in winter because the sweaters fall over my breasts and make me appear to have a large tummy. I can't wear many types of tank tops and most tube tops because all you see is breast. All my swim suits have to be separates (thank goodness for VS). At work, I am constantly looking for clothing that minimizes my breasts (which is not easy) and am very paranoid all the time that they look too big. Breast implants can not be compared with real breasts as the implants are firm and sit high whereas natural breasts are softer and fall lower. Someone who is a C cup with implants will look much bigger than someone who is a D with natural breasts. My advice - if you think they are a little small, you'll be happier later on. The excitement of having very large breasts is great at first but the excitement wears off after a while and you realize that having very large breasts comes quite a few limitations in terms of clothing, exercise, etc. This may sound weird but I guess my point is that you have to think about your whole life and factor in your boob size and what affect the breasts would have. Girls both this comments make me feel better., I had the "too small feeling"... , I thought, after all this pain, I wish I had gone bigger!!.. But both Matt and my doctor advise me not to.. (I got 340cc, which makes me a 34c now) Where I live is summer year round, hot and humid.. and I'm usually wearing minimal tops, or bikini tops at the house... , and I love to work out..., so If I think about what you are saying here, it makes sense.. I think I will have a good size to look "fuller" from what I had, and still look good in tops, not "just boobs".., and swim and run without too much bouncing... I can't wait to be recovered! to take off this bra and wear cute tops!!!... Today is my 10th day... 20 more to go.. ha!... Thanks a lot for this comments... I feel better now... I went for a walk today! and I started to do some legs exercises.. I feel so much better!! -

I would also tell you to MAKE SURE you wear the bra or the breast strap Next I would tell you to take it easy. Breast augmentation is very invasive surgery and takes a long time to heal. If you push yourself too soon, you can do damage or hurt yourself. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM or email me. Thanks a lot Jenn, I'm making sure I take all the meds, and wear the bra, I'm hating both, but I want to heal well , and soon!!! -

The pain will be around for a couple weeks at least...and obviously try not to lift anything!! I found the easiest things-like opening doors or doing up the buttons on my jeans to be a challenge for the first while too! Also, I'm sure the doctor has told you to do your "boob exercises"...lol. Not sure if this helped at all, but I am more than willing to answer anymore questions you may have!
