Our Wedding Photos by Del Sol
soltamargo replied to cmathews's topic in Post your Destination Wedding & Engagement Pictures!
Carla, thanks so much for having me I loved all the attention to details that you put into your day, I think future brides will love to see what you did, so I'm going to post some specific details that I thought were very creative. Custom painted shoes, with turtles, tropical flowers and her monogram Very unique!! And comfortable, she had to walk a big distance to get to the hotel looby to go to Al Cielo for ceremony, in the way, we took photos, she is dancing on her new wedding shoes... I loved her! Another very cool idea was this "purse" for bridesmaids, a different thing from a common bag, inside camara, sunglases, kleenex, makeup etc... and with the wedding colors and monogram Wedding invites, how cool is the design? All the programs and signs had the monogram Your orange tulips bouquet were gorgeous too. Loved your parasol too And the dinner menu was like a postcard, one side was a creative photo of bride and groom , I think probably your engagement session and the other side the food choices. -
Sorry I can't help my self posting more pictures! I love this wedding/venue a lot!! Here's some photos on how Barcelo looks at dusk / night / reception time... very sexy! This is the outside view of the reception restaurant where Raquel and Jay had their dinner and fiesta! And this is the inside view, looking from Bride and Groom's table. You can see how they organized all the tables around leaving this big space in the middle for dancing, it was perfect! Loved the lightening too.. This is a cool reflection I saw on the window, on one side you can see the inside of the room and on the other side you can see that you are at the beach! palmtrees and moody light loved this photo! Simple yet beautiful centerpieces on the tables From a photographer's perspective, the day went perfect.. the timing was great to capture the best light.. Gabriela Barbosa wedding planner was very attentive to us making sure we had everything we needed to do our job properly. Barcelo is a huge location, we had to do some walking.. but I truly enjoyed all the different perfect photo opportunities you can find all around., so I will be very happy the next time I come back for another wedding.

Loved your necklace too! Like a fairy tale bride The groom could not see you, that's unique of indian weddings, makes the walking down the aisle more exciting! It is very special all the participation of the parents during the ceremony, here mother of the groom wrapping them with a laso Here mother of the bride saying some blessings to you.. how sweet! Looking like a coule taken out of a fairy tale. Amazing!!!

It is not easy to look sexy, be romantic while holding your breathe and floating on a very heavy wedding dress... you rock Desi!!! This is my favorite, I LOVE how ethereal, magical, dreamy and beautiful you look! The second dress for the beach was a great idea, to have a different look, yet sexy and romantic! Matt and me couldn't believe how perfect you were as a couple, and how amazing the weather was..

I can't believe you made them, so gorgeous! Loved your bouquet too, very original! Having your mom with you is precious, she is lovely, a big big heart! Luis loooooves you so much! And your daughter!! OMG! she is a minidiva, a handfull of cuteness and trouble at the same time. I LOVED her! This photo makes me laugh..

I LOVE to go explore new places and when Natalie + Eugene booked Del Sol for their wedding at Cabanas La Luna in Tulum (a place I have never been) I was so excited!! The location is as cute as cute can be, colorful, with amazing staff and delicious food (honestly one of the best food ever! ) I want to share the slideshow for brides looking to get married in a unique place, intimate, colorful and fun, check out Cabanas La Luna: http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=330&title=090410-Natalie-Eugene-Wedding-at-La-Luna-Tulum-Photos-by-Sol-Tamargo Jonathan and me arrived to the location and found Eugene and his friends hanging out in the terrace of the restaurant, chilling, having a beer and just enjoying the good company before the ceremony., this area is wonderful, it has a unique oriental design/feeling to it, colorful walls, and the ocean view, Natalie and her girls were getting ready in a beautiful cabana with a second floor, kind of like a "loft", so I was very happy of the possibility of shooting from above. LOVE LOVE the colors! every cabana has a different color Natalie was ready and it was time to go! Ceremony was at the beach, it was a crisp amazing blue sky day! It was hot too, however guests were very happy! After the ceremony for a champagne toast, they set up this cool glasses on the sand, very original: Another great idea was to have a wood sign with their names and date set on the beach next to the ceremony location:

I am a hopeless romantic and everytime I hear an amazing Love story I feel touched Carlos and Katty met each other 10 years ago, and their destinity took them through different life paths, they both got married to another parter and they both had children. During that time Katty won the tittle Miss Mexico 1998, she is a Gorgeous woman!! They lived in Mexico, but sometime during those 10 years, they both moved to the US., they divorced and continued with their independent lives, and one magic day they saw each other again.. after 10 years! they found each other in the US. Life is funny and gives us surprises, Carlos and Katty went to a life time before being able to embrace and love each other. Now LOVE found them, and it's holding on tight!!! They came for a few days to Playa del Carmen and stayed at the fabulous Rosewood Mayakoba were I had the opportunity to shoot a portrait session. All I could do in front of that love and passion was snap snap snap, with a smiling heart! Have I told you how much I LOVE to photograph LOVE?? Add passion, add sexy and it's MAGIC!! Here are a few of my favorites: Katty is a GORGEOUS woman!  Lots of love!   Architecture at Rosewood is phenomenal!, this stair case is inside their suite patio, it goes to a nice roof top        HUGE smiles!!    Passion!  They promise to come back, next time might be wedding photos!! Yeay!
