Hang, did claudia tell you that they use cancun studios for the photography? I had asked if the photographer had a website, but she never said, and she didn't give me a name. I did contact cancun studios for prices a few weeks ago, but they didn't mention that they are the photographer there. I was just curious, sometimes it so hard to get an answer on things! Thanks for posting that info!

Like Jackie said, I don't think its unswimmable, but the sandbags they had to put in aren't pretty. I think they put them in after the hurricane, but I could be wrong.

can the mariachi play ceremony music? I want whatever I get to be for the ceremony and cocktail hour. such a hard decision!

I can't decide on this either sarah! I'm hoping when I get a little closer I'll have a better idea, but right now I'm leaning towards the mariachi.

EDR is supposed to be beautiful! We are honeymooning there! There are a few EDR brides on here, I'm sure they'll post later. We would have had our wedding here, but its adults only

I looked into both, cabo was my first choice, if we were on the west coast it would have been cabo for sure.

Jules, I agree with the others, some really nice pics, other not so nice. And I agree with Jackie, about Juan, a lot of girls got him at a great price when he was starting out, and this could be her situation as well. Also, I understand about having a budget and no matter how much you may want to spend (for example) 5000 on pics, if you only have 1000 to work with, theres not much you can do, you can only cut back in other areas so much. I'm not sure if this is right or not, but my understanding was if you were already married you would do a vow renewal/spiritual ceremony, but you did have to show proof of marriage. Thats what confused me, I didn't know how you could have a spiritual ceremony and get married afterwards, because I thought you needed to have the paperwork proving you were married to do the spiritual ceremony. Does that make any sense? I will look for the information I have.

yes, let me find it [email protected] sometimes she gets back to you really quick, other times it takes longer. but last time I emailed her she gave me another email address, which I think she may check for often, but I can't find that email, I think I lost it when my computer crashed. She'll still get your email with this one, but it just may take a little longer for a response
