  1. I am wearing a veil, I agree with tammy, it will be fun for pictures, and how often do you get to wear a veil. I am also going to use my sisters veil & tiara, I think, rather than buying them. And the will be my something borrowed. She's going to bring them down to me in a few weeks when she comes to see my dresses so hopefully they will be what I want.

I posted a link somewhere before, search for "flipflop idea" I think thats where I put a link to ebay, they had large lots of flip flops you could buy, I don't remember how much, but they were cute they had different colors and designs.
  4. We sent out about 55 STD's, so about 110 guests. There are a lot of ppl we sent them to that we know will not come. And then there is a large group of people that we knew would really want to come but we weren't sure. So far the majority of our friends have said they're definetly coming, but haven't booked yet, at least not through our TA. My family will be done booking this week and then FI's family needs to do theres. So we originally thought we wouldn't have more than 20, now its looking more like 30, and those are just the people we've seen and talked to!
  5. I haven't gotten married yet, but I did see the pics you're talking about, and they're okay, but I really wanted someone else. We have a very small budget as well, I ended up going with Claudia Rodriguez Photography, I am getting one of her team members Citlalli Rico for my wedding. Her smallest package I think is 850, and she has some other packages as well. Would that fit into your budget?

Thank you for this site also, I need as much information as I can get!
  7. I'm hoping that I won't need alterations, besides the bustle. All the dresses I like have a corset back and you can order maggie sottero dresses in petite, which is 3 inches shorter than normal, so I think I might be okay, keeping my fingers crossed!
  8. so you gave them their gift after the wedding?
  9. I just got off the treadmill a little while ago, just in time for American Idol
  10. Welcome Tracey! I'm a dreams cancun bride too! Let us know what we can help you with!
  11. I'm always very indecisive and the wedding is making it worse, because I just want so many different things, I wish I could have 3 weddings so I could pick all the different things I want!
  12. I was just looking around for a map of mexico and came across this website. It has information on cancun, playa del carmen, riviera maya, isla mujeres, & cozumel, I thought it might be helpful for those of you looking for information on the area and things to do, theres a ton of information here. Cancun Mexico : things to do, attractions, tours & hotels
  13. yeah, I don't know what I did with that file? But I got it from claudia, and it just had 3 cakes, I think they were all the same, very simple, and they had different flowers on them.
  14. I liked Natashas idea too, and if I spend that much I most definetly will put it on every chance I get!
  15. Welcome Elizabeth! Many of us have looked into your services, you have phenomenal work!
  16. I think so too, but I have to exercise, maybe if I do it during the day today while the suns out it won't be so bad. There are windows all along the wall, so the sun can come in, it might warm it up a little.
  17. sherri, my treadmill is in the basement and theres no heat down there, I'm soooo dreading going down there to work out, its sooo cold here!

I figured thats where you were, but thought I'd check, we'd have to get together if you were closer my way I'm home today, hailey is sick, so I'm hoping I'll get my lazy butt off this computer soon and go get my workout out of the way!
  19. I have gone and tried dresses on by myself most times and a couple times with our daughter. I liked going by myself because I knew right away if I liked the dress and I didn't have to listen to anyones opinions right away, I was able to make some of the decisions on my own. Now I've narrowed it down and will bring my mom & sister to check them out. I wanted to stay under $1000 too, and I thought I was going to be able to do it too, until the last time I went and my two favorite dresses were $1000 & $1500. FI says don't worry about what it costs, but I feel guilty spending that much money on a dress that I'm going to where for a few hours.
  20. I think we're going to register at linens & things & macys, because we have both stores close by and people can order online as well. We already have a house so we have a lot of stuff, but theres still some things we could use. I told FI all he can do is point the gun, lol!
  21. Ann, where are you in mass?? I did the treadmill tonight, it was rough after a week off
