  1. karen- here are my thoughts. the wedding attire- honestly, I think this depends on what you are actually wearing. Since you are having a slideshow, I don't think you should, however may just wear white. Favors- what if you bring back some crafts from tulum? Maybe from the local artisins (sp?) and attach a label or thank you tag. I remember last time I visited the area, there were lot's of affordable crafts when we stopped in the small towns. Maybe you should contact Sol Tamargo, she's located in that area and may give you some advise. Centerpeices/flowers- I think you can do with out flowers. Or if you do, maybe incorperate some of the flowers that you are using in your bridal bouquet (from your actual ceremony). Also, since you both are into photograpy and crafts what about lining picture frames with pics from your wedding on the tables? Or maybe making Luminarias with pictures http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1624 Cake- I think this is a great idea! Hope it helps!
  2. The pregnant women I know use cocoa butter. This one in particular. Massage Cream For Stretch Marks, Cocoa Butter Formula, Scare Cure, Reduce Scares, Eliminate and Smooth Scars
  3. Melissa thank you for sharing!!! I saw it last night at about 1am! Super sweet!
  4. Congrats Melissa!!!! Great review! But where are all the pics?

Do you mind posting the envelope template? My co-worker just gave me Photoshop software so I'm soo excited with my new toy!
  6. You are HOT!!! Go Christine!! Make sure your students don't get a hold of these!!! Great job, Leigh, as always!
  7. Thanks Anny!! I had the hardest time printing the boarding passes (on heavy card stock) so I'm glad to hear that you were able to print using velum paper!! I'm serious, I just love your invites!
  8. Those are AMAZING!!!! I love them... I swear, I am copying all your ideas! Did you print them on the HP Color Laser Printer??
  9. OMG! Yes!! well not exactly invites but asking if they are going to be in the wedding party!! can you believe it! first Hans’ sister asked if her BF/baby’s daddy would be a GM, uh NO! Then the other night I was at a party and Han’s friend starts talking to me about the wedding. I told him that I was sending the STD’s by the end of the week w/ more info and he asks if those are the ones that I was sending to our wedding party. I said no, they are for everyone. Then he proceeds to tell me that he hopes that Hans would ask him to be a GM. (I told hans NO! He already has 10!) Then his good guy friend thinks he’s going to be the BM. He is a GM but we decided to have MOHs and Bestmen for all our wedding party since I can’t decide on a MOH.
  10. CONGRATS!!! yay, another BDW bride to walk!!!
  11. honestly, i see no problem at all with this. I told FI the same thing. I don't want to have to worry about buying the band I really want now. I'd rather wait till later when and not rush. (I know its silly, I have plenty of time to shop). I know a ton of ppl who don't have the same rings as they had when they got married. Some upgraded, or like several of my aunts and including my parents, their "real" rings were stolen. I say go for it!
  12. Adeybaby- I completely agree. When you take into consideration that most DW photographers include RD, 8-10 hrs on the WD, and day after session and most include the CD in their basic packages for about $5000, other photograhers, although "more affordable" just don't seem to be worth it! I'm trying to get my FI to realize this too. But so far no luck.
  13. Thanks. I did read that post. I remember recieving a similar price list from Paulina Ulloa and although she was affordable, when you compare how many pics you'll be getting, its not worth it. At this point I just can't afford the photographers I want. I'm going to wait and see if we can allow for one. But I just don't want to commit if I know we simply cannot afford it. Michelle has great shots, by the way!
  14. I love the table runners!! And are those tulips in water?? very nice!!
  15. So my search continues for a photographer that I like and can afford. So untill I win the lotto or find a new job, I'm still looking for a photog in PV to save the expense of travel costs. Has anyone ever heard of this photographer? I can't seem to be able to send an email via their contact form. They seem to be located inside the Westin. Any help?
  16. I'm sure you'll have a beautifull wedding! I'm going to use Marco and try and do the rest on my own with my cousin's help (she lives in Mexico).
  17. Okay call me traditional and corney, but I'm planning on tossing my bouquet and garder. Acutally my SIL just suprised me an bought me my garter! I love it!
