  1. For some reason, it's hard to dial out (from a cell). I work/live very close to Jamy.. It did not hit too hard here, it was just very long. I'm sure she is fine.
  2. I felt it! We are good, but AT&T sucks! I couldn't dial out! It was long!
  3. Edna I am so happy for you. I have been so worried about you. I really home Jorge has had enough time off and will be there for you (wedding planning and health wise). We've missed you around here!

Please click on the link to my review and planning post in my siggie. All my vendors are listed there Let me know if you have any questions!
  5. Jacie, both Maura and Jaime Lynn have meet with Prisar already. Try searching Prisar in the forum they will pop up. Also, I used Priscilla too for our wedding. She was amazing to work with and I have no regrets hiring an outside wedding coordinator. You can find the links to pictures in my siggy. If you have any specific questions, do not hesitiate to ask!
  6. When have you all found the time to change your name?? I haven't yet. Lol... it's such a lengthy project!
  7. We had Sal Picot (which is like Alka seltzer but tastes better IMO), Gum, Band-aids, Tylenol (other's got advil or motrin), wipes for glasses, alcohol pad and a recipe for a "Cerveza con Clamato" (thanks Edna).
  8. They actually suggest you order your dress at least 6 months to a year before your wedding. I purchased my dress in October or November of last year and I just got married 3 weeks ago.
  9. Of course! I had on spanx and a strapless bustier. But its manageble.
  10. Very nice Abbie! So much fun. I really wish we would have been able to do a TTD.
  11. Thank you! I just started a thread for MothM!

I think I've been on so long, everyone here knew what my wedding was going to be like. I honestly didn't think I was that organized, I just learned so much from all you girls (it all began with making my own monogram) and I just went from there and picked up on so many ideas from everyone here. I've always wanted to get married in Mexico, the churches are amazing. I need to post pics from my moms hometown. We spent a few days there at the end of our trip. They have the most beautiful cathedrals. I really wanted to change it up a bit without changing my dress, so I added a sash, took off the veil and switched my hair jewelry with flowers. Thanks Mel We got a few shots in the Malecon, but the rain came in so fast! It was the purpose of getting married in Downtown.
  15. Welcome! I just got married in PV this past July at the Mayan Palace. Let us know how we can help!
  16. Did he pass away today? Its heartbreaking. I saw his lecture (on T.V.) and it was so moving. It puts so much into perspective, we should all love life!
  17. Thank you so much ladies! We were very luck to have such great vendors. They were awesome to work with and made everything fall into place after many, many issues while planning. I wish I had vendor names, but if you've ever been to DT LA, you know you just walk down Santee ally and find bargains. The hats I got for $9 each and the folding fans for $6 a dozen. We also had palm fans that were purchased from Oriental Trading Co. for about $10 a dozen, but I only purchased 80- we had 175 guests. I don't love my fabric for my sash and am looking for a replacement! Congrats!!!! Your wedding was GORGEOUS!!!! Thanks Danielle! Take away! I loved how my hair came out! It kind of fell into place and was not at all like the trial. My sash is actually a piece of ribbon. I literally went to the fabric store, found a thick piece of ribbon, wrapped it around my self and cut! My aunt hemmed the end and vuala, I had a sash for less then $10! I'm sure you can find this ribbon at a Michaels or Joann's.

Its a long story, but we hired one photographer (Nataly) who's second shooter is her husband (Art). She couldn't make it, so Rudy was her back-up, second shooter. We really lucked out. They were amazing!
