Thanks Glenda. I do love the idea of scattering petals. I have to admit though, thoughts of having 2 ceremonies have crossed my mind since the ceremony (and set up) is already included in the fee. This is the jetty at the Mayan (the pics are from prisarvallarta.com)

I love this site! If I find my dream dress I would def go for it. They actually have a new Jim Helm dress that I posted in my "I wants" in the gallery. But its still a little too much for me ($2650)

I know that we've had a couple of brides on here considering or who have opted to have their weddings at the Mayan! Please post here! I have so many thoughts/questions and would love to share! i.e., we are having a Catholic Church ceremony but I love the jetty at the mayan and would like to utilize it some how. My photog suggested lining it with petals which would make a great photo op. Any suggestions?

omg- I can totally relate. I don't freak out, but I figgit (sp??) a lot with my ring. I constantly take it off and put it on. My hands swell with the hear or when I drink. (the night we got engaged, we had some drinks and my ring was sooo tight!) Any hoo, I def feel that way when my hands swell up really bad, I fell like i NEED to take if off ASAP!

We're planning an a day cruise the wednesday before our friday wedding. I wish we could afford to pay for our guests, but its way too much money and we have too many guests. The Mayan has a fire pit, maybe (depending on costs) we'll have a bonfire and cocktails the tuesday before as a welcome event. Oh, by the way, adding to Maria's suggestions... I am planning on making game cards and using pictures of my guests and things related to PV. As an example, I have an uncle who is always falling asleep and we have great pics of him knocked out with random things in his hands, any ways, I'd place a pic of him and name him "El Dormilon" (the sleepyhead). I'm planning on playing this on the boat.
