  1. This bride has a ton of resources for Maui brides (pic heavy) and very detailed DIY projects. It's booked marked so thought I'd share! Bio

I'll see what I can do with the Carpenter font (since Sarah found it for free!) and if I still really want the other font, then I'll purchase it. Thank you ladies! You are the best!!!

  9. Okay, this may be a little long. But as you all must know, I've decided to make my own invites. The White Aisle The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations has beautful invites and they made the mistake of posting the names of all the fonts they use, haha (see below). Well the issue is, I really love 2 of them (Cezanne and Carpenter) and I can not find them for free Carpenter Font - Fonts.com. They are about $40 each ugh! Is it worth it?? I plan to use them an everything (lables, invites, table numbers, menues, etc) I'm also afraid of getting ripped off. Have any of you purchased fonts before?? here are the fonts they use!
  10. Jaime! Thats great! Let them know that you are considering the Mayan Palace in the Marina as opposed the the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta, althought, the Marina is sometimes catorgorized as Nuevo Vallarta since it sits on the border. I'm so excited for you!
  11. I plan to have a giant calla lily bouquet and have a small noesgay bouquet for my MOH's (I'm having 9 so I need to keep them small)

  13. We're working (with Tammy) to get group rates for the Melia Hotel Puerta Vallarta (Mexico): Melia Puerto Vallarta - Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts which is next door to the Mayan. I can't say that I am thrilled with the hotel, but its more affordable than Velas Vallarta (i think, but Costco seems to have a good rate) and it is really the only AI thats with in walking distance from the Mayan Here's a link to my website's accomodations page, I listed all the hotels in the Marina Wedding Website - Amy & Hanssel - Accommodation Ideas and included maps
  14. Try Velas Vallarta Puerto Vallarta Hotel Velas Vallarta Mexico I've noticed that the Marriott has an all-inclusive option called an "Escape" plan via their website http://www.paradisebymarriott.com/packages/offer.aspx?id=1# They only offer it for hotels in Latin America and the Carribean but I've never seen this plan on expedia nor other travel search engines. They have the CasaMagna listed. here's a link to map of the marina Marina Vallarta Maps
  15. thats sweet Michelle, but since I announce the winners I don't think I should be nominated. MothM stands for Member of the Month. We've been having 2 one bride to be and the other is a newlywed.

The pictures of weddings I've seen held there are beautful. Are you using the pergulas (sp??) on the beach? I'm not much help because I didn't look into the Westin. We are getting married next door at the Mayan. I once read a review of a PVBride (not on BDW) who said her outside WC would have helped her get cheaper rates for the corking fee but she had already booked the Westin on her own.
  18. What a jerk! I've always wanted to teach, but my univ did not have a credentials program and I never went back. they make you run through hoops to get your credentials yet teachers never get the recognition (nor the $$$$) they deserve. I envy you
  19. Welcome!! I'm getting married a the Mayan Palace in the Marina. Do you have a venue yet? Here's a link to the PV forum to get you started. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ounding-areas/ let us know how we can help!
  20. I haven't heard of that salon but I'll keep a look out for it.
  21. Can you all believe its already the 20th of the month! Well, you know what to do... Nominate your MothM, but please nominate less than 3 each! You should see me trying to tally the top five when everyone is nominating 10 ladies each!
