  1. Hi Drea- I got your pm... I'm still waiting on Hans to give me an answer.. Its most likely yes, but we need to make sure he gets off of work on time.. You know, just put me down for 2.. if he can't make it, I'll take one of my many BM;s!
  2. I'm doing Lime and Chocolate however I think I may throw in some turquoise, teal or some sort of shade into the mix. I really love how the color pops. Plus, I really want blue margaritas as our signature drink during the cocktail hour, lol!
  3. Great pics Christine!!! I love them all.. I had to skim through them, but Matt did a great job!
  4. i don't think you should worry too much about it. I'm sure some guests will be a tad grumpy, but they'll get over it once they arrive. I've read reviews where people have done some sort of activity the morning of the wedding and still managed to have a great time. Can you ask PF if they can accomidate your group and have breakfast, or maybe just a continental breakfast, early?
  5. Christine, you look so beautifull!!!! I'm so excited for you!!!! The pictures are amazing!
  6. hey! we love to dance to the spanish version of the Achy breaky heart- seriously! Its on our song list! Its soo funny! there is also this one.. el caballo dorado.. I was so excited to learn that our band has this on their list too!
  7. Beautiful Nataile.. I couldn't expect any thing less from Juan!

We only had a chance to visit half the island.. we drove and passed so many great locations. I really want to go back and "backpack" throught the rest of the island. I'm sure you can find a great location there.
  9. if we were on the east coast I would have def chosen PR as a location! FI father was born there and we visited the island two years ago.. I truly fell in love with it. we stayed at the Wyndham Condado (now its the Condado Plaza and has been remodled San Juan Hotels & Puerto Rico Accommodations - Condado Plaza San Juan Hotel & Casino) and saw two weddings.. we stayed at El Convento in San Juan one night El Convento Hotel and Resort and its a great location for a wedding. the church is across the street. Its a small boutique hotel, but it is literally in the middle of san juan, you can step out to the blue cobble stone streets, its beautiful! Old San Juan- Puerto Rico - VirtualTourist.com We also had a chance to visit El San Juan Hotel and Casino (well the bar, casino and lobby- they have a club but it was closed on that Sunday we visited) San Juan Puerto Rico Hotels & Beachfront Resorts - El San Juan Hotel & Casino We had a glance of El Conquistador when our tour bus was dropping off some guests, it looked amazing too, but far from San Juan. Puerto Rico Hotels & Beachfront Resorts - El Conquistador Golf Resort & Casino And talk about photo op's.. El moro El Moro, Old San Juan | Photo is perfect, you can walk there from Old San Juan.. you have this old world meets paradise feel! I can I say it once more, BEAUTIFUL!!!!
  10. Congrats Lisa!!! You looked beautiful! and your nephews.. so adorable! I love their shirts! side note... remember to tell big bro not to wear a hat prior to wedding!
  11. We're planning to pay for everything ourselves, however his mom has said she'd help somehow (she has offered to pay for his suit), my parents have offered several times to help, but they've helped enough by letting me live at home rent free My bro has also offered some money (his I really don't mind taking since all of my SIL's family will be attending 9 adults- 3 kids, haha!) none have given us an actual figure, but we are not depending on this $$. We gave ourselves almost 2 years to save before the wedding. So far we've paid about $6000 so far on deposits for our location, band, photog; i orded about 200 starfish, 150 shot glasses with our logo.. and we've saved and additional $8000 so far. Phew... my god, this is the first I've totaled these up! And like Christine, we are having a large wedding - anywhere between 150-200 ppl..
  12. Jenetta! there are so many pictures! I think i've attempted to go through them 3 times now! I love how your photog was able to capture not only you, but all of your guests! You can tell what a great time everyone had!
  13. okay, I only found two "hits" Quote: The florist that jendam mentioned is called Frissia and is located in Mercado Palmar de Aramara, Loc. 83 and their phone number is 22-5-32-21. It is very nice local floral shop. They only carry certain flowers daily - not everything you are looking for - they may have to order. I would suggest that you try Floreria Lucy - located at downtown behind the Pemex gas station on Peru Street - Ph. #22-2-61-30 - they speak english here - at Frissia they do not. They also have a shop at Plaza Marina, Local C-4 which is by the airport. I use both of these florists exclusive for my wedding clients and have never been disappointed nor have my clients as they love their work and their prices are very reasonable. 18. I was just looking at this knottie page, again, Bio and she purchased some vases from this store Floral Supply Syndicate they have A TON of stuff and at good prices, but they say they are wholesale only But I thought I would post this info anyways... It gives me an idea how much florist OVERCHARGE for vases!
  19. I honestly wouldn't care if you gave them to me in the box.. We go to downtown LA and buy knock-off's over everything, lol. I think as long as your honest, it should be okay, unless you have BM's who are really into name brands and would be offended if you gave it to them in the box. I think they are cute, leave them as is
