They don't have anything like that now, but it seems like something they would carry. They are also free-trade. I haven't tried them.. thanks! I am sorry, I don't have any referrals for where to find them :/ Our preliminary RSVP response is about 180, so I do expect between 150-125. I have family who travel often to Mexico (some drive) so we plan so send some stuff with them. They are about a 4 hour drive away from PV most will make the drive. If I find a great deal, then I'll purchase them, if not, I'll beed to think of something else. I've even thought of contact some WC's in PV to see if they'd want to buy them from me after the wedding.
  4. Its so funny, I haven't purchased my dress yet, but I felt like I had to drag my mom to the bridal salon with me. I really wanted her there the first time but didn't seem as excited as I hoped she'd be.

Thanks, but I’m looking for the round ones. I don’t think I can fit 10 on a round table. I was thinking of getting the Ikea ones and some how staining them, but again, I don’t think I can fit 10. I do keep checking Ikea out hoping that they get round ones in.

  7. I've only tried BigLots, but had no luck. I even tried a supplier in the Philippines but they were charging $6 each!

  10. I'm looking for Wicker (Rattan) Chargers or round placemats for CHEAP... if anyone comes across a good deal, please let me now. ( I'll need about 175!) TIA I'm going for this look.. (pictures from knottie Plumeriapal, roccodesigner.com, bdw NABUMBAH (Tasha).. and I can't remember where else.. hope you all don't mind I really want the palm centerpeice with these chargers (or placemats), the linens are pure white, kinda boring.)
  11. I just went to his site and they provide a contact form Aldo Tovar Photographer E-Mail: [email protected] I believe Raeka is using him.
  12. Great!! Thanks for the info, I just emailed them! I think we're cleaning out their stash!

We've been in contact with the Church, I have vendor contacts for the beach lounge, all I need are flowers, lol! And Ann posted the florist she used and I loved her flowers. Plus my cousin in Mexico is helping me out with this too. So, I decided to email prisar and said thanks, but no thanks.
  15. I've been hearing about this on the radio, its insane! I cannot belive people continue to have this mentality.
  16. I stayed at La Jolla years ago. Benifits- nice pool, private beach, all suites, vera affordable IMO; Negatives- really far from downtown PV and I've read that the beach (sand) has washed up and there really is none left at all.
  17. Jilly, everything looks so cute!! I can't wait to see you're wedding set-up.

Odd, when I contacted them they specifically said that they only worked with these resorts. Thats why I ended up choosing Dreams first. When I realized that I couldn't afford the DD, we found the Mayan, and switched resorts.

I would really like to see a wedding that Marco has done on his own. I'm assuming you're using him alone as your WC? Can't wait to see your pictures! I felt the same, I actually emailed him last night and asked him to send me pics of weddings he has not done. I need a comparison. I dont think I'm getting Prisar, I really think I can use the 2K and use it elsewhere. I think your buying "peace of mind" for hiring an outside WC, however, I look back at weddings I've attended locally and NONE have used outside WC so I figure we don't really need it. I understand why others have planners. She wrote the most unprofessional email I have ever heard...I don't know how she got my email and why she felt to write it. Beware...don't believe everything you hear. Sorry...I am still a little upset that she sent me that email because I felt like this forum and the other forum I was on was for brides only and NOT VENDORS. amy Amy, thank you so much for your honesty. I remember reading your post on the other forum and always wondered who sent you the email.
  20. OMG! I've been there, lol! Fun times! I remember the club having a bus that picked us up from the hotel, but I have no clue how much it would be... what if you try contacting the club?
  21. FYI- when I contacted Kristen at the DD, they only did weddings at 2 resorts - Dreams and Villa del Palmar Flamingos (i believe). the rest are private villas or Terra Noble.
