  5. My guests are saying the same thing about staying so far out of Puerto Vallarta. Too bad all the new hotels are in Nuevo Vallarta. I do have to admit that they are right, they're is not much to do when you step out of your hotel.
  6. Anny they look great! Thanks for being the ginneypig and trying them out! This is one decision I am definite of for my wedding!

  8. I came across this resort in a magazine. Looks like a nice honeymoon option El Careyes Beach Resort - Weddings
  9. Thanks edyta! Its funny because getting more and more upset! My birthday passed in Nov, I thought he would do it then. Then thanksgiving. I told him his time was running up because I was only giving him untill the end of the year! But he was still able to suprise me!
  10. Since I knew that he had the ring for sometime now, I constantly teased him about proposing. Earlier in the week, I had a feeling he was going to propose but I knew he was going to speak with my parents first. They did such a good job of hiding this that I was quite disapointed when he picked me up on Saturday and I really thought that we were going to his Christmas party. Hans said he wanted to take me to dinner before the party (which is not a shock because he always does this). I kept checking his pockets and joking around. He kept denying it and by the end of the night I really thought that he was not going to propose. Then the waiter came around with the dessert menu and suggested a dessert. I said no and ordered a different one. I joked around again saying "did you ask them to put the ring in the dessert?" Then the waiter came with 2 plates and said here's what you orderd and here's a special one! Then I asked him if there was actually a christmas party and he said yes. So we went to this hawaiian lounge where he suprised me with an engagement party! Our friends and some family were there! Everyone had none about this for sometime (at least three weeks!). I still cannot believe he pulled it off!

  13. I've stayed at this one too. I agree it is very nice, but I think its a little pricey. I would say that its like an upscale Barcelo Jolla de Mismaloya. Tammy if you read this, what are the rates for this hotel?
  14. What a great price! And 12 hours! Thanks for the info!

That's my take on it too. We traveled to Cancun a couple of years ago. There was about 22 of us and the hotel knew that we were related and offered (for us a 4 bedroom presidential suite! Ever since that trip, a regular room just doesn't feel the same.
  16. I think this hotel is a great option if you have families who are traveling for the wedding (because of the suite). However the rooms do look a little out dated and I'm conserned that they don't have much of a beach. But I think the price is great and I feel that I could get more of my guests to stay at one hotel (I'm afraid of paying for the day passes). Well anyhoo! Here is a link I found of candid photos of the hotel. There is even one album from a wedding. I need HONEST OPINIONS, what do you all think of this? la jolla de mismaloya pictures and videos on Webshots
  17. Hanssel finally "officially" proposed last night! Now I can show off my ring.

Thanks Tammy. I was worried for a moment. I'm planning on having a friday wedding to allow our guests to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Also, because there are quite of few families going, I am trying to set a date during their kids summmer break (even thought its rainy season).

I hate to say that but we're are not planning on going scouting unitl Feb and I would hate to book something before then.

Yeah! I'm so excited to see a PV vender join the forum! Welcome! I'm planning for PV DW in June/July 2008. I'm debating on the location but I hope to narrow the choice when I visit PV early next year. I've seen come across your website in the past. Is it possible to post a general price list? Also, in your experiance, which locations have you shot at? Thanks, Amy

  23. Thanks Ann! I think I may go with her aswell!
  24. I just noticed that "Paulina Ulloa" is listed as the photog on The Dazzeling Details website. I tried to goggle her but couldn't find her direct info. I'll try looking into it some more. It's possible, however, that she may work exclusively with them. Here's a link to the website: Puerto Vallarta Wedding Coordinator - The Dazzling Details
