  1. Christine, that looks great! Are those from Target? I've seen some cute invite kits there. You can also try to punch two holes on the top of the invite and tie the bow through the holes.
  2. Thanks for posting that tammy. I posted this question in another thread and I don't think it was answered (or I over looked it because of the INSANE amount of posts), but what do you suggest/believe is a good photo package?
  3. Thanks Anny! Pictures always help. I am trying to find the closest church to Dreams. I'm afraid of having the ceremony at the main church because its a major tourist attraction but I would love having pics in front of the church. so I am still considering it. Here is a list of all the Catholic Churches in PV (just incase a future bride is in need of it): Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (Parroquia de Guadalupe) Hidalgo # 370. Tel: 222 1326 Sacred Cross Parish (Parroquia de la Santa Cruz) Lázaro Cárdenas # 395 at Aguacate. Tel: 222 0989 Our Lady of the Refuge Parish (Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Refugio) Corner of Perú and Argentina. Tel: 222 4980 San Rafael Parish (Parroquia San Rafael) Calle Jamaica Tel: 222 2440 Sacred Herat of Jesus Church (Templo Sagrado Corazón de Jesús) Calle: Plaza Paritzica # 17 Col. Aramara Tel: 224 0329 Virgen of Talpa Church (Iglesia de la Virgen de Talpa) Plaza Central Sur # 167 Tel: 224 1323 These are pics of 2 churches but I'm not sure what there names are:
  4. Thanks Anny, I'll check when I get home. I don't even know which church to have the wedding at. I've only seen pictures of 2 (the main one and one that is by a park??) I can't find pics of any other church in PV but I do have a list of addresses and phone numbers.

I remember reading somewhere that the donation is only $50. But I think what she quoted me is rather high, even if she is including decor. Thanks girls.
  6. I have a question for brides who are doing this. What are the costs associated with this? I know that there is a donation fee, but how much is your WC charging you for this? Is anyone organizing this on their own? My WC is charging almost $2500! (includes legal ceremony with all the prep. associated with it, guidence in collecting documentation for church, Preist, decor, fans for guests, donation, and "transportation for all wedding equipment to and from venue") I've emailed her to cut out the legal ceremony b/c we do not need that and to ask what the customary donation is. I forgot to ask what she means by the last service. This seems like a lot of money to me, but I wanted to compare to how much others are paying.

You could use soap opera names as titles or put a section called El Gordo Y La Flaca and put fun facts about your guests. I'm sure they would love it. 8. Of course links are welcome! We love links! Thats a beautiful villa. Who are you using as your WC?
  9. Its either the Oceana or Seaside Grill restaurant. I'm having my ceremony off site but I want a beach reception. I'm not sure yet. My SIL suggested having the dinner on a terrace and having the dancing and lounge setup on the beach. But I need to see if there is a terrace which has direct access to the beach.
  10. I think you should send invites to everyone. Its your wedding, they have no reason to be angry! If you don't send invites then they'll turn around and complain that you didn't invite them. They have no right to blame you if they cannot go. My answer to everone who makes comments on having a DW is, "Are you paying for my wedding?"
  11. That's why I'm using an outside coordinator. I really don't want to finalize my plans at the last minute. Marilu sent me two pics. one reception is on the beach but she didn't tell me where the other pic is from.
  12. Has anyone rec'd pics from the WC of reception locations?? I want to take a better look at the grounds.
  13. Anny, what about having the candles outside around the pool? I only suggest this b/c my brother has a pool and we've tried floating candles on several occasions and they always tend to float and gather at the corner of the pool.

I tried finding magnetic ones but I couldn't find them. -Glenda I'm just making the regular ones. I'm using the template that anny posted. I was thinkin on purchasing them but decided it should be my first DIY project and save some mulah!
