The price is great. Christine, they have video and soundbit samples on their website. They sound great.

I'm so excited to have found this band! They quoted Hans 26,000 pesos for 5 hours! They bring their own dj, and change their attire every hour for each set. Dreams PV requires you to provide a dance floor for a reception on the beach and this band brings their own! Has anyone heard anything about them? Or what are your suggestions on trusting vendors? haha! I don't think I'm going to have a WD, I'll just have all my guest meet up at salsa night!! I was thinking of borrowing the mariachi from their Mexican Fiesta since I plan to have my wedding on a friday.

Ann, make sure you take lots of pics of the grounds for me, please!!!! I'm trying to avoid going on a site visit before the wedding (trying to save money any place I can). We are planning a beach reception and I have no clue how private it will be. Oh almost forgot, I asked marilu to send me the nightly activities that the hotel hosts. Its very helpfull just in case any one wants to plan their events around these: Monday: Football night (i think this is only b/c of football season) Tuesday: Caribbean party by the beach. Wednesday: Salsa night. Thursday: Rock concert by the beach. Friday: Mexican Fiesta by the main pool area. Saturday: Karaoke at the sports bar Sunday: Nunsense play at the meeting rooms.

I know! I'm so excited! I don't think that we are going to use the outside WC, as much as l like her taste, she is just charging too much. But I've been able to finde vendors on my own (thanks Anny for the search engine) and I just rec'd the contact info for the photog in PV that I like, Paulina Ulloa. I'm going to email her today and see what she charges!

UPDATE: Hanssel called Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. They said the donation would be 1500 pesos for 2007. We need to wait until Nov. 1st to reserve the dates but they faxed him all the info we need! That is no where near the $2500 us dollars the WC was charging!

I havent' heard of her, but looking at her blog, she looks like she may be in the RM and Cancun area. Great photos and you can contract a videographer with her too!
