  1. I'm going to have my mom and brother print what ever they can at work. I have a Dell printer and the ink is sooo expensive. I'm going to try and find a cheap print shop for my invites (if I decide to make them on my own. )
  2. Glenda, I have a template at home on my laptop. I'll post it later tonight. They also tell you where to purchase the labels. But if you want to check it out on your own, go to Aylee's website and look under resources. She has a link to this.

Well actually I don't think that includes the two weekend retreat costs. Can you believe how expensive it is? Arrrgh! -Glenda OMG!!! I never even thought of those costs!!! That is rediculous! Uggh.. you would think the church would offer these services for free! No wonder its a sin not to be married by the church, they wouldn't be able to make their money!
  4. Sarah, yours are so cute! But are you having the same trouble as I am transferring them onto an image. I dont know why they don't come out clear?? Any tips. I dont have photoshop. And Christine, I feel like doing EVERYTHING DIY. I went through all the links that Aylee provides and downloaded tons of templates. I even found a link on how to design your own paper. I just need to figure out how to transfer it to a clear image and find a cheap print shop...
  5. I love it Sarah!!! I know what you mean, I'm making 1 monogram per day! I swear, we all really need to go into business together.
  6. I know! I'm kinda wishing that I could move up the date. But we need the time to save so, and I need the time to shed some pounds (I cheat A LOT!) But yeah, we'll be on this forum for another YEAR AND A HALF!!! I hope Tammy doesn't get sick of us! Quote: Originally Posted by Nrvsbride OMG this is the best news!! Doesn't it seem like our weddings are a million years away? I feel like the day will never come! -Glenda
  7. Jennifer, I have seen another bride in the forum who is planning their wedding at El Conquistador in PR. I don't remember who, but you can search for Puerto Rico in the search box. I went to PR in 2005 and stayed at Wyndham Condado. We were there for 10 days and saw about 6 weddings. They were beautiful. There isn't much of a beach there (I was a little disapointed) but they hosted many weddings on a terrace that had beautiful views.
  8. I have 9 BM's! I tried cutting some out but couldn't bear too. I don't have sisters so I couldn't do the Only Sister's thing. I sent and email to all my BM's last night. I was going to make little cards but my FI already asked his GM last week and some of the guys are married to some of the girls so I had to tell them soon. Someone posted this poem on another thread and I think it was originally created by a knottie. I added the clip art and sent them an email using Photobucket.com feel free to use it! bridesmaid invite.doc
  9. We have sooo many WD threads and I'm sure that ppl have commented on this question before, but I thought we should have one thread on this topic. My wedding will be in July. Very hot and humid in PV. I still want my BM's to wear long dresses. We are going to have them made and I'm not sure which fabric to choose. Now, with my WD. I hate to admit it, but I sweat A LOT! What is the best "breathable" Fabric? I love lace and am considering this fabric, but what should I look for as the inlay? BM dress design.
  10. I think you still have time. I may use this vendor for blank invites, they have those quite pocketfold inivites for a very cheap price. Here is the info on their shipping time. Designs from InvitationPaper.com Depending on your location and where the items ship from, your product should be delivered to you within 1 to 7 days by ups ground at a flat rate of $7.95. You do have the option of UPS air upon checkout. Orders in by 12 noon central time should ship the same day. There is no guarantee based on product availability. We will try to notify you of delays over 24 hours. Orders over the weekend do not ship until the next open business day.

Just a thought. I was thinking of doing that but I will be sending two boarding passes per family. One will have this STD info, the second will be the RSVP (this one will be a postcard version so that they can easily put it back in the mail.)
  12. Thanks anny. I guess I may have to purchase envelopes for them. I'm trying to skim purchases on anything I can. (little things add up). My mother is making me send the second pre-stamped prelim RSVP, because she said not everyone is internet savy and will not do this on our website. Ugg! Stamps=$$$
  13. I have a quesion. How did you mail them. I am thinking of sending 2 passes. One with the info and the second with a prelim RSVP which will be pre stamped (somewhat like a postcard). I am going to make the pass envelopes but they are not full evelopes so how are they mailed. I don't want to purchase an additional evelopes. Would it be okay to mail them with the STD partially exposed??
  14. Christine, great job. I love the idea of using the grapes instead of flowers.
  15. Thanks Bob! I just asked if you could post some pics in a another thread, but you beat me to it!
  16. Bob, Do you mind posting some pics of that wedding. We are planning on having our wedding in a Church and are leaning towards that same one. It would be nice to see some pics. Thanks
  17. Have you seen Barcelo Jolla de Mismaloya http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1885 There are on the south end of PV. I was considering this for my guests and wedding but decided Dreams was the best option for the wedding reception (it is more affordable for us). They are an all suite hotel and very affordable.
