Thanks Christine.. I agree, less is better. Guys don't seem to understand that, Hans thinks I should add more- more rocks, flowers. I think I'm not to fond of my first trial because nothing seems to pop! I think I'm going to try something different next time.. Each vase will have a different look... Hmmm..

Thanks Ladies! Sarah (BEACHBRIDEMA) I like the idea of pink but I want to try and stick to my color scheme. I thought of adding a different type of flower, maybe casa blanca lillies?? Of some other type? Sarah(Sassygirl): I did buy the vases and river rocks at IKEA. And actually, yesterday morning we went to the flower district in Downtown L.A. and saw the larger orchids and curly willow, but I didn't have cash and didn't plan on purchasing anything. I just wanted to see what flowers were out there. But once we left I had an itch to make a trial run! We went crazy trying to find the orchids and curlywillow! I went to Micheals to purchase fake ones, and they were horrible and expensive. I then went to 2 flower shops and purchased the curly willow and mini orchids (they were already wiltering!) I didn't plan on using river rocks, my FI said we should. But maybe I could only add it to one? We'll see, we're going to make another run to DTLA and and get the right materials!

Rachelle, I had a friend who did the same, but they didn't live together, so that whole month thing, was probrably not as hard as if they had. I wonder how all you girls are planning on doing this. I don't want to share a room with FI before the wedding but I know it will be a mess to share a room with some of my BM's (because there is only one single BM). I'm sure I'll be able to sort this out, I'm not sure how to go about it. Most of the GM are single so they are actually planning on getting a suite and Hans is planning on rooming with them untill the WD.

Tammy, they rate does change daily. I suggest you make this a last minute DIY. Usually the change is not drastic, so the couple of days your guests are in Mexico, the change shouldn't be that much. Also, street vendors will usually round off currently its 11.2 pesos to US$1 so they just round to 11 pesos.
