  1. I know the feeling ... the first mistake might have been going to a PoB ... they're SO expensive!! Same thing happened to me, so I understand. I eneded up spending WAY more on my dress than I originally planned. Keep shopping - you can find another one that has the same look to it, without the designer name (and price tag!). FYI - is this it?
  2. was there a place for them to fill in their names, I think that's pretty standard on RSVP cards. what a PITA! I guess you can email people and ask them if they RSVP'd already - and remind those that haven't to please put their names on!
  3. can I brag that the newest Super Target is like 1/4 mile away from my house (by Southdale). WOOHOO! I go there for everything - groceries, clothes, necessities, starbucks, etc. I'm actually thinking of moving in! I guess I didn't even think about the fact that they weren't everywhere!
  4. hmmm - not sure, i've never looked into airline deals for groups or anything, so i am not sure. it will be tough online since it's not a group traveling together, ya know?
  5. if you don't want to deal with the hassle of it all (i'd make people book their own flights! lol) - you could ask a TA for help. just send them the names, dates, times, etc. just make sure you and Amir book together so you're on the same reservation - I assume you're traveling at the same times.
  6. you may already have it done, but ... 1) once you have created the text box, highlight the text 2) in the main menu above, go to Format > Text Direction Hope this helps!

  8. if you all book the exact same flight, yes. just coordinate. you may not be seated together if you're on different reservations though. if you can coordinate, you can try to choose yours seats at the time of booking to be close, and then try to switch on the plane. you do run the risk of the first couple people booking flight #123 (for example) then when the rest go to book, the fare has increased or something. another option is to just book a 1 way flight out, all on the same reservation. then everyone can book their own returns. you'd have to price it out though - it might be a lot more expensive.
  9. can you just book all of your flights separately, and just pick the same outbound, but different returns?

  11. Oh damn, Stephanie - if this have a good ending, I was going to make sure to find a place for you! I just realized I am going to be in Chicago the weekend of your wedding ... and I was going to stalk your wedding! I drove by Centennial Lakes the other day, it looks sooo nice, and will look even better once things start turning green!
  12. what an awesome idea - too bad i can't use these anymore, otherwise I probably would have. thank you, jean-marcus!
  13. remember - the basement isn't necessarily dark and dreary! it could be a full, walkout or something - in my house we live in our 'basement' (we call it the family room) ... it just happens to be the lower level of our house! i just don't want you to picture the little girl in a dark, dungeon-like place!

Well, Nicole made me walk down once so she could ask me how I wanted the ceremony set up (the "L" shape aisle, or the straight one). Then I went right back up! lol

The next wedding I have listed is Julieme (Julie) on 4/16/2008 and then nat4crim (Natalie) on 4/22/2008. Julie has only posted twice, and hasn't been on since July 2007, so I doubt she'll stop back. Boo! But I am pretty sure Natalie will be back, or at least I hope so! Quote: Originally Posted by Pazoop Ann, I crack up a little bit every time your refer to the baby as nugget! Then we just started calling him/her that - and it stuck! It's better than "the baby" or "it" since we aren't find out the sex. And I can totally see us still calling him/her Nugget after s/he's born ... it's total habit now, and I don't even think of it! My mom bought a little outfit and had embriodered "Grandma's Little Nugget" - how cute!
  18. i just updated your date in my master LC list! lol (yep, I'm a dork!)
  19. My guests STILL talk about how amazing our wedding was - they all say we've ruined them for any other wedding now. It could never live up! And while that wasn't necessarily our goal, it does put a smile on our faces! And our guests, mostly Paul's friends, are now planning an annual trip since they had so much fun. How cool is that!? Except the fact that we can't go this year due to Nugget's arrival! Oh well ... next year!
  20. I am fairly certain it was something I ate ... I was queasy from about Thurs night (our wedding was Friday) to the next Mon. or so. Not cool! I never actually threw up, though I tried to all night the nighe before the wedding. And I was in the bathroom a lot (eeewww, TMI). The boat ride wasn't as bad as I thought, it was just that crappy feeling all day long that sucked. I hate that I never got to have the champage and margaritas in the casita, and all that stuff. And there just aren't many (or any?) pictures of me with a huge smile, ya know? That's the hard part!

This is the one negative feeling I have about Caletas and my wedding day ... the fact that I was sick. I didn't get to explore (I wanted to!), and I didn't get to experience the full "impact" of Caletas. It was all I could do just to smile. I so wish I felt better - the entire expericen would have been just so much more amazing! But, I guess, we'll just have to go back when we feel better. Deal? lol
  22. AHHHH! I am so so so so SOOOO excited for the two of you ... I can't believe you're married! After all you've been through this past year, Heidi (and Reggie!), I am just so happy that the two of you finally got to have your day.
  23. I like what Jason said - talk to them. Maybe there are some misunderstandings, or maybe just a little education would help them be better doggie parents. They may have the best of intentions, but not know all of the best ways, ya know? If they get at all defensive or anything, then maybe they're not the right fit. But it can't hurt to talk to them.
  24. There were a few in our crew that were dropped off to continue the night ... but most of us went back to the hotel.
